I don't know why Atkins Endulge would be off limits other than some of the products are higher in calories. The only thing I get is the Caramel Nut Chew Bar Atkins Endulge. It truly does taste like a snickers bar. 130 calories, 2g net carbs for the whole thing.

I went to many stores and the same Atkins bars are available individually. Also, Central Market and Whole Foods sell some protein powders in individual packs so you can try them. Thank goodness... some were awful. |

Ya, I get the South Beach chocolate ones and they're good but I miss the crunch that the Atkins ones have! I really wish I could find something more calorie friendly than almonds that would satisfy my crunch cravings. I may have to get creative with some veggies and dip. (I loathe pork rinds.)
I'm going to add Miracle Noodles to this list of products as a GOOD one. I honestly don't understand how some people hate them. Wondering if it's how they have prepared them or maybe they got something other than the angel hair? These were fantastic. I rinse them really really well. Even used my hands to swish them around for awhile. No fish smell after that. Then I put them in a non-stick teflon pan and cooked them on medium high until the water was all evaporated. Mixed them up with some no sugar tomato sauce, real grated parm (10 cal per tablespoon), garlic salt, and turkey pepperoni... seriously wonderful lunch. I would not be scared by some of the reviews. Get the angel hair - and take the time to really prepare them correctly.

Electrolytes: Best drink is Diet Snapple to Go Pink Lemonade. FINALLY. But I worry that Snapple doesn't make them anymore. It doesn't appear on their web site. I've emailed them. Thanks, Determined Gemini, for telling me about them. I had to order them online as no one around here has them. Also asked Snapple about that. |

I order them direct from the website! You get 10 packages per order. Sounds like a lot but you eat a whole bag for every meal so it really isn't.

I gotta say, I really tried with the Miracle Noodles. I rinsed and got the fish smell out, and then I cooked them in a pan, but when I chew them they are SUPER rubbery, I just can't stand the texture. I've tried several different brands now, just can't stand the extensive chewing required/the slimey texture in my mouth. I've thrown out 3-4 bags now. More power to the people that can eat them, I wish I could!

I love the Miracle Noodles too. Lately I've been making shrimp scampi with fresh garlic, butter spray and paresian cheese, and putting it over the Miracle Noodles and making pasta carbonara by adding the chicken spinach and feta sausage, crumbled turkey bacon, diced chicken and seasonings. Yum! My husband thinks they are delicious too.

MMMM! I will definitely try that, Susie! I had them again today with the pasta sauce and was coming here to look for more recipes! The shrimp scampi sounds great for the acute phase since shrimp is so low in calories. THANKS for the suggestion!

I eat these too. ITs one of the only Atkins bars whose 'net carbs' are actually true. Make sure to check the math!! and I LOVE the miracle noodles. Shipping is a b*tch though, wish they sold them around here. They also really help with constipation. |

Use the smart water, and add in Crystal Light....half of my fluid intake is this because I work in the sun all morning, and it def helps! Crystal Light has 5 cal per with no fat, no carb. I think the only ones that do have any carbs is the fitness one, but it has electrolytes in it, so pick your poision! My fav flavors are the peach tea and raspberry lemonade....YUMMY! |

Found a new product! Hungry Girl sent out an email yesterday about "True Lemon" and "True Lime". (They have a website - google it!) It's WONDERFUL in water or used to make a marinade for chicken. It tastes so real - not at all like the bottled stuff. This is going to get me off of crystal light.

Another product find - Celsius Energy Drinks. Got a big case at Costco. It burns 100 calories extra when you drink it. Great for workouts! No sugar, no carbs, no aspartame, 10 calories a can. Tastes good too! I got the green tea raspberry.

I just tried the miracle noodles this week!! I loved them..I bought the angel hair. No smell at all... I sauteed them with a bit of turkey, spices and parmesan cheese.
Has anyone tried the "pizza" ? Its made with cauliflower, egg and mozarella cheese. I saw the recipe and wanted to know if anyone liked it,... |

My new favorite are Emerald Cocoa Roast Almonds, 100 calorie packs, 2 net carbs (4g carbs with 2g fiber) There is 8g of fat, but a nice crunchy treat!

I am in love with Memeber's Mark (Sam's Club), Mozzarella and Roasted Garlic Chicken Sausage. I seriously could eat this everyday single day. I think they had a different flavor to although I don't remember what it was.
1 link is 120 cal, 5g fat, 2 carbs, and 17g protein. It totally fills me up, or you could add a veggie or small salad to it to make an AWESOME meal. I really can't say enough good things about it. They are precooked so you can just do them in the microwave or they are super yummy cooked on the grill.

Lins - I love those chicken sausage and mozz links too....I like to cook for aboutg 45 seconds, cut up and then add sauerkrat and rewarm. Yum! Fills me up and feels like you're part of summer, not missing out!
Regarding the Emerald cocoa almonds - Sams Club carries the BIG plastic container of them. You just have to self-limit; um---I tend to then, um, eat about 15 to 20 at a time! |

Oh oh oh! New laughing cow cheese flavors available! I just got home and BLUE CHEESE, chipotle, and tomato basil were at the store! I bought one of each but I can't wait to try the blue cheese! I'm thinking of all kinds of possibilities with Frank's wing sauce, chicken and the blue. Yay!
