Improvements in Women issues/anemia? longtermers?
Hi All,
Since I had my 2 babies and was diagnosed with insulin resistance, I have become anemic during my cycle. It is dreadful. I have been on 1 cycle and though I have notice an improvement in my day 2 day life-I am still anemic. I am hoping after another month or 2 I might see a difference. Any long-termers out there have any advice or good outcomes to share? Thanks CJ |

Nope. I'm significantly anemic from my periods and the only thing that would help would be iron supplements which are difficult at best to tolerate (as I"m sure you know). I'm getting the Novasure ablation next week though and can't wait!! Don't live with anemia for as long as I have. It's only going to get worse! My hemoglobin levels are at a 9 (normal is 12-16).

Also, this diet made my periods even heavier (if that was even possible). I know this is TMI but I literally could not go from sitting to standing without flooding my clothes. Talk about debilitating. I'm glad I'm self-employed and can work from home!
