Thank you Amy1915. I know everyone is different, I guess every week I go in expecting more. I will talk to my clinic tomorrow. I do notice very little lose or a gain with it's TOM.

Today I'm sick with a sore throat, stuffy nose and a headache and on top of that it's that TOM!

Mom on a mission have you incorporated an exercise routine or just following the diet plan? Also are you taking the fat burner?

I weighed in Friday and have lost 14.7 lbs in 5 weeks. I'm 10 lbs away from my goal! Everyone has really started to notice too and that just motivates me more. Last night, we had a big birthday party for my husband and I was very good. It was a little tempting with all the food, chips, birthday cake but I didn't give in!

I slowly began incorporating exercise into my plan around week 3. Truthfully, I was too exhausted to start it before that! Right now, I'm doing Couch to 5K on the treadmill 3 days/week along with Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred 4-5 days/week. I really love both programs because I can do them at home, which works best for me

I am taking the Fat Burner too. I'm finishing up a bottle from the clinic, but might try the Mega T brand that some people have talked about.

Are you exercising or taking the Fat Burner?

When I started in Jan I was exercising and taking the fat burner and I saw the weight come off. Truth be told Fed was a terrible month for me. I was so busy with work and my son's school activities that I only made it to the gym once in Feb and I stopped taking the fat burner since it always made be nauseous and actually got sick one day. On top of that I was only sleeping 4 hrs.
Thankfully I'm back on track with March. I went out and bought the Mega T the Thursday night. Today I'm sick with a sore throat, stuffy nose and headache and it's the TOM. My weight in is tomorrow and I always gain or lose very little the week of TOM. I'm not losing faith, I'm sticking with it and trying harder every day!

Congrats SCgirlinFL! That's amazing! What an inspiration to all of us newbies!! I am 2 1/2 weeks into the program and I crave the old stuff and probably still will but it's getting easier. I told my bf last night at dinner that after I lose my weight, I am not going back to my old WOE. This WAS my WOE! He is a good influence on me as he eats really healthy and indulges within reason on very rare occasions. Here's to a big loss for March!

Congrats Gemini! You have almost lost as much in the first two weeks of March as you did the whole month of Feb! Whatever changes you made, they seem to be working!

And congrats Jerry, I voted for you! I love your new pic by the way!

Hi, Im not an frequent writor but read often. I started my Medi journey back in 08/08. I lost 40 pounds by 01/09. Went off the program for financial and other reasons about 20 pounds shy of goal. I kept the weight mostly off for the next few months to fall of 2009. However, By the holidays in 2009, I had gained 25 of the 40 lost. I want to clarify that the weight did not just come back on its own. It was not the program or the diet but my choices.

I believe this program works and worked well for me. I went back to Medi on 1/14/10. Had a great start and was down 16 of the 25 pounds and was working to get back to my last lowest weight. I got out of ketosis on Vday(white wine) and then went on vacation and used being out of ketosis as an excuse to go off diet for the entire vacation and last week. Im very fortionate to have only gained 4 pounds in the 3 weeks off. So, I made an appointment for this coming Friday and using that as motivation to get back. I drop 2 of the 4 so far so that is helping motivation.

Im really just struggling with getting back in ketosis. Not physically as I have the knowledge as to what to do to get back in but just the motivation and will power to do it. Your post are definitely inspiration and any other advise getting back is always welcomed.

Determined Gemini- I had almost the exact same scenario last week at my weigh in and lost the exact same amt of weight...weird !!! Good for you, keep it up you're doing great.

Hey Susan, if I remember correctly it was week 2-3 that was REALLY hard for me regarding cravings. My mouth would literally water at the thought of some of my favorite foods. I stuck it out though and have only hit one other rough spot regarding cravings. Under my docs suggestion I tried the B1/B6 shot (Youch!) wh/ I don't ususally get, but it really did the trick. I got one today in prep for TOM since tht is a really bad craving time for me. Good luck, Courtney

OMG Kristenb, you know I didn't even notice that, wow. I'm in tears right now, everyone here is so wonderful, inspiring and amazing. Sometimes we get so caught up in the NUMBER that we miss to look at the whole picture. Thank you, thank you so much for that!
The difference so far this month is that I've made myself priority #1 and not my job. I was so busy working ridiculous hours, not making it to the gym, skipping meals and only sleeping for 4hrs.
I woke up feeling a little sick Thursday but by Saturday night I was a mess. I laid in bed Sunday morning not feeling well going back and forth on whether or not to go to the gym. I read some of the threads here and it motivated me to get up and go workout for 90 minutes. It was hard because I couldn't breath but I felt good going.
I won't be going to the gym today or tomorrow since I have a viral infection and my doctor wants me on bed rest. Good thing I didn't go to work today nor will I tomorrow. A few months ago I would have gone in and worked.
Any way I've gone on and on long enough. Kristenb again thank you so much!!!

Weigh in showed 2.2 lbs gone from last week. It's finally happening...getting closer to 150s! Now 166.4 lbs. My daughter saw me last evening for the first time in a month and says I need to get some clothes that fit my body better! I'm still wearing the size 14 jeans I overspilled/muffin topped over for months, now muffin top is minimal but they still fit in the hips so cannot rationalize buying new yet. Tried to see if size 11's fit but couldn't pull them over my hips yet. I'm still a work in progress! Almost 1/2 way to my goal!

Hi Everyone... I've been soo busy for the last few weeks, Ive neglected a lot. Its amazing how work and stress can be over powering on emotions. I fell off the wagon a few times and didnt follow the plan... most of it because I didnt journal and kept thinking "oh, im starving, its okay... I'll start back up tomorrow!"
Anyway, thankfully I didnt too much damage (I think), but I do kick myself in the rear. Back on week 1 today and hopefully will reach ketosis by mid week. We'll see.

Glad to see everyone is doing well and helping each other out!! Soo awesome!!

Hey Lucas33 I know exactly where you are coming from I was on Medi last summer and did great lost almost 30 pounds and fell off and by Jan gained almost all of my weight back. You just have to get back up again and just do it. Sit down and ask yourself how much do you really want this. Write down why you want to lose weight and how much it will better your life and refer back to it every 3-4 days. Set weekly mini goals. It also helps to take pictures of yourself every week to track your progress and motivate you to keep going. This forum is great had I known about it last summer I would've stuck to the plan. I hope all of this helps we're all in this together. Good Luck!
