Is Medi-Weightloss the same as Medifast or BetterMD.net?

Hi everyone,

There is no Medi-Weightloss center near me (I live in Michigan) but I was wondering if this program is similar to Medifast or the one through our health plan at work through BetterMD.net.

I know the work program offers a VLCD option with a recovery program where you add back foods and then a maintenance program.

Are these similar?

The three programs are most definitely not the same or similar. The two programs you mention both include purchase of specialized food and food supplements. MediWeightLoss does not have food for purchase, well, other than the Medi Shakes and the MediBars. Meals are prepared and planned by you, you shop for your own food, measure your own food. I have looked at the two programs you mentioned. Take a good look at the websites of each of the three and decide which is best for you. If there is not a MWL clinic near you, I suggest you contact MWL corporate and they may be able to advise you how to proceed.

Thank you Desert-Rose7. After I posted my question I did some more searching/comparing and realized they are not the same. I may try calling one of the centers to see if they can work with me over the phone or online. Again, I appreciate your taking the time to reply.
