Energy In (Food) and Energy Out (Exercise)
At the request of LostinAusten, Determined Gemini, and myself, this thread is for accountability of food intake and exercise, only. All other dialogues should be in the other MediWeightLoss threads.
So far today I've eaten:
B - 4 oz roasted turkey "dipped" into 1 Tbsp of low fat cream cheese w chives
L - 3/4 c. cottage cheese and black pepper
D - 3 oz chicken that I have marinated in curry/chicken broth/onions
Haven't yet exercised but considering the recumbant bike while watching "The Bachelor," so I'll post that later.
B - Protein Shake (EAS Chocolate)
L - 3oz chicken breast w/ mushroom, egg whites, spinach (Lunch out at the Cheesecake Factory)
D - 3oz chicken breast stuffed with laughing cow and spinach
S -100 cal cheese stick
S - Laughing cow and celery

L: Talapia (2) & Coffee = 160 P, 50 Misc.
D: Chicken (4oz) = 140 P
S: Beef Jerky & Coffee = 135 P, 25 Misc
Exercise: None (unless you count walking a 10 month old baby around the house, because she says she wants to walk and not crawl and yet you have to hold her hand every second for fear that she might gash her head open on some furniture exercise)? She had me bent over and walking around for about 20 minutes. So if I burned 50 calories doing that – so be it! LOL!
Tuesday - 2/16
B - EAS Chocolate Shake -110c, 4carbs
L - 2c spinach salad with, 3oz Chicken, 1 laughing cow - 160c, 6carbs
D - 3oz Pork chop with green pepper and onion wrapped in 1 slice of bacon - about 150c, 1carb
S - cheese stick, 60c, 1 carb
I may have another snack here in a bit, I haven't decided if I'm hungry or just bored.

L: Grilled Chicken Breast 5oz (175)
S: Cahews (330), Coffee (50)
D: Grilled Pork Chops 4oz (220)

Unofficially - walked a little girl around for another 20 minutes and cleaned house for 1 hour which includes laundry (wash, dry, fold, put away), vacuum, and kitchen clean up. I think walking up the stairs about a bazillion times counts too! :rolleyes:

I have decided to cut my coffee intake to one cup a day. That is my sacrifice during the lent season. It will be hard for me to give up and in the long run, I know it will do me good. Maybe I should give up cashews too... hmmm. Done. As of now (since I already snacked on some) I give up cashews for lent. :p

An ok day...Could have done more cardio if I would not still be recovering from major Mardi Gras and Saints Celebration partying. Could have not had the sugfree candy and could have replaced the diet drinks with water.
Time to get focused.

Unofficially: None - it was BFs birthday so we went out to eat, hence the ??? on my meal choice for dinner.
Im confident I did well. I managed to elliminate the afternoon and evening coffee and didnt snack on any more cashews after my decision to give it up.
Overall Im comfortable with my day. I weigh in today, so we'll see how this week's decisions pan out. Wish me luck.

About coffee... have you tried have frozen coffee blended with an EAS shake in the morning? It comes out like a milkshake and might make cutting back to one cup easier :)
Hi Saraanne, At home a couple days ago I was 170.4 but we'll see on Monday my weigh in day. I really need to get below 160 by the end of March. It's SO time to see a different reflection and pant size!

Still hungry, what to do, what to do...
Okay, just made what I'll call a Faux-pa-chino.
I took an EAS shake, dumped it in the blender, put a pinch of instant coffee in, and a few ice cubes and blended. Viola...Fauxpachino.
110calories, 4 carbs
Not too terribly bad for a chocolatey treat.
