I fit into size 12's. I was able to bring up 5 skirts, two pairs of capris and 5 pair of pants. I haven't worn them in years and I'm truly amazed that my big body can fit into them. It just doesn't seem possible. I feel happy!
Congrats Lea! It's a great feeling.

I used to be a size 7-8 then slowly went all the way up to a size 20. Now that I've lost 40 lbs I'm can comfortably fit into my size 16 (which are now a little lose) Hope to join you soon in the 12's

Well I figured out why I've been so hungry! It was TOM and I wasn't fully aware. Sounds weird but I got an endometrial ablation which stops my periods aside from a tiny bit of spotting. I still get the hormone surges and PMS and all of that though. Hopefully I can get a handle on this hunger now. 2:00-5:00 pm are the very worst times for me so maybe if I just drink a lot more water or something then it would help.

Yesterday's accountability:

B: Egg Beaters, Laughing Cow Chs wedge, Turkey Sausage Link (all cooked in a mug in the microwave - yum)
L: Turkey Breast Shaved, Smoked Salmon, pickles, 2% cheddar
S: carb control yogurt, 6 Almonds, more turkey
D: NY strip steak, green beans

Tons of crystal light and smart water!!! OMG I thought I was going to float away but it really helped!

Still can't get in size 12. Seems I have to weigh under 140 to get into 'em (if I remember right). Very annoying.

I thought I had to be around 170 or less to be into my 12's but I'm there. I can go up or down 20 pounds or more and not change a size, so don't really see getting any lower than a 12 even when I get to my goal weight. If I do, that'll REALLY be something. I don't own a single pair of size 10 anythings!

You're 5'9". I'm just 5'5", so that can be one difference. I've lost 25 pounds total since last year (I had lost over 10 before starting MWL. Some of my 14s were snug, some fit (but they were probably really 16s). So I haven't changed sizes.

I have to admit that I've had about five diet Mt. Dew's today. I usually limit it to one with my dinner, but today, I started at work and just kept drinking it. Hope that doesn't have any adverse effects!

Two more days till weigh in. I want to hit that 35 pound mark!

sorry for the noob question, but why is that not good? you only netted 300 calories for the day not taking into account your BMR and what you burned outside the gym. I eat about 800 calories a day and sometimes make it to the gym for about 5-600 calories... i dont consider that a failure. should i?

yourdiet looks pretty good to me. i hope you feel better.

I wondered the same thing, too. You can't exercise and burn 400 calories and eat your daily 500 or whatever calories you're assigned. You are SUPPOSED to up the calories on days you exercise or else send your body into starvation mode.

For example, you eat 500 calories. You work out and burn 300 calories. That leaves your body with 200 to live on for the day. Now that's not good.

Talk to your MWL center to figure this out. Just explaining, not advising.

I'm sorry ladies, it was not a good day because I was so sick. I was nauseous, sharp stomach pain that went to my lower back, felt very weak and tired. Kept thinking about eating, a danish, a crossiount, a bagel, something, anything to make me feel better.
I was also trying to be good Monday and Tuesday to make up for Sunday. I had 2 home made beef patties! I only up the calories I burn when I exercise if I've been very good.

Debbie, good luck with the paper. Don't get TOO stressed out and keep making healthy choices!

B - egg
L - turkey, cheese stick, celery
S - beef jerkey, almonds
D - hamburger, cheese, salsa, jello

Walk 20 minutes
Bike 30 minutes

You know how some days are hard and other days are easier? This was a much easier day for me. I wish I could break it down into segments so I could see why certain days are better. I'd repeat those days over and over and over!

Hi Lea,
Turned in my paper online about 45 mins ago...it's for a nursing ethics class for my MSN. With today's changing health care system things have been changing from when I graduated with my RN 30 years ago! Nurses still want to be nurses and provide awesome care for society, trust me!

5/16/10
B-Pure Protein PB bar
L-turkey pepperonis (17) nuked in microwave and 2 sl provolone cheese and 1/8 c cheddar on top
D-3 saltines and a Tbsp of natural peanut butter (working on my paper...grabbed and got out of kitchen!)

Unfortunately, didn't drink much today. Hope scales are okay tomorrow.

I'm over my calorie "limit" and under in protein. Again, some days are harder than others. This is definitely a hard one for me. Nibble, nibble, nibble, and now I feel almost sick. Dangit.
