A migraine from allergies/sinus congestion woke me prior to my alarm clock going off at 5am....sat up and started vomiting
....and it went on for the next nearly 2 hours until Drammamine and Aleve kicked in. But I had to miss working with my students today, the first time in over four years. Didn't start feeling better til 1pm. Can I just cut off my head? ![]() It is such a pain....![]() On a good note, by 1pm I was in small ketosis, and tonight successfully in 3rd day of acute week one again....couldn't keep anything down til about noon, so that probably had something to do with it. ![]() ![]()

Took my water, diet Dr Pepper, and EAS protein shake to school of nursing for a meeting I thought would last 2 hours. Got invited to stay all day for a faculty meeting important for me to know about as a grad student....and they catered in BBQ and snacks. Made pretty good decisions, and then coleslaw salad with Ramen noodles led to deserts....ended up at the school for total of 6 1/2 hours. Darn carbs!! Had salad and fruit for dinner. Back to day one tomorrow. Why oh why?

Hello Everyone
I was wondering what greek yogourt do you eat Cathy? I keep looking for one but they all seem so high in carbs. I have low cal low sugar yogurt but would rather eat greek yogurt. I am entering week 6 down 18 pounds. Went last week I guess I need to eat more protein. Was happy that the dr said that the Black Soy Beans are good as they have 19 grams of protein and only one carb. Will try to get better at posting what I eat but I think I eat more then most of you LOL |

so I went out and bought a Tervis (Insulated) Tumbler (24 oz) with my Initial on it (DH has one with his initial too)
Had to laugh I have 3 large TT with the new sliding lids. I start out with my coffee in the a.m., then move to my water and keep it filled all day. It even ends up on my night table at the bedtime. My daughter laughed at me but I even packed it in my suitcase when I went out of town last week. |

Hi Christy!!!
Seems like the MWL threads have really slowed down, and not so many of us oldies were showing up. You are welcome to join us at November Challenge! I found this monthly accountability group a couple months ago when I needed likemindedness and the support of a cheering small crowd!! You can probably look at where I've posted recently. Come on over! It's great to see you again!! Last edited by Fit2010; 11-18-2012 at 08:54 PM.. |

I just ate 1400 calories for Thanksgiving dinner! I decided to give myself a free day since I haven't had one since I've started, but good grief! Goes to show I really need to plan out what I'm going to eat and calculate the calories beforehand! It was all very well planned too, but I totally pigged out. I had 2 servings of honey ham, 2 servings of roasted vegetables, some raw veggies and dip (fat free low cal), 1 serving roasted edamame, 2 servings of pumpkin bread, & three servings of egg nog pie! Luckily the desserts were my sugar-free, low-carb versions, but that didn't make it okay to have multiple servings. I keep telling myself I can't gain all my weight back in one day, but it sure does feel like it!
