"Holy Heatwave Batman" 112 degrees??? and I thought it was hot and humid here......guess I'll stop complaining. We have an inground pool, so I don't have to do anything except walk out my door, and jump in! You're so right about the heat/sun using up the chemicals and putting more stress on everything. Ours took a big hit with the hurricaines a few years back. The ground settled, and something under the "spa" broke, so we haven't been able to use it (the spa) since then.....it's just a nasty "swamp" that we have to manually drain

I still am not feeling great so Bill went to the gym alone again today. I did get in the pool, and did water aerobics, and swimming for a solid 30 minutes, before I started hearing my stomach growl....when I got out I was light headed and weak feeling........not quite as bad as it was the VERY first week 1, but that's what it feels like. Without the AS I'm pretty hungry, so have added a few more calories. Once we eat tonight I'll post my "in and out" for the day! Hope you can get in the pool tomorrow!

Hi Mary,
Sorry your still not feeling well. I hope you feel like yourself soon. Well Iam back from my mini trip to the white mountians. I hate to say it was cool and dry there. I truly hate seeing how hot some parts of the country are going through. I hope it will break and cool down soon. Ok then, Iam starting back Thrusday to week one. I have not been doing so good with eating the past 3 days:blush:. I will jump back in with you then. I would love some imput on going back to week one after being off of medi for 3 days?

I had Jury duty today from 7:30 - almost 6PM! Bill packed snacks and lunch for me

B-Coffee, leftover Johnsonville brat
S-iced coffee (I needed the caffeine)
D- smoked turkey and laughing cow cheese rolled up, diet cherry cola
S- iced coffee (STILL needed it) YAWN 1/2 oz pork rinds
D-Grilled porkchop, cottage cheese

NOT enough fluids

Thank goodness I wasn't chosen to be on the jury for a trial that is supposed to last the whole month of August. It's the third time this guy is being tried (for murder). The first trial was a mistrial, the second was overturned on a technicality. It is a death penalty trial

Cathy, I recommend drinking LOTS of water, and eat protein snacks....don't let yourself get hungry....if it's protein (as in less than 20 carbs all day) you will not probably be prompted to overeat. Cool weather sounds awesome! I've been swimming when I can...thankfully the city pool reopened today after it was repaired.

Mary - Intense!

I too am doing this on my own (as in not going to the clinic/center) I agree with Deb. keeping carbs low, and even going a little higher on protein/calories, so that you are NOT hungry is a good idea IMHO......if you're not taking the AS, and exercising as much as you do, I think your body is telling you that you NEED to increase your protein (and maybe even your fat a LITTLE). The protein will keep your body from going into starvation mode (or will pull you out of it, IF you are already there) and the higher fat will help keep you feeling fuller. As Deb said Drink your water......you might want to switch up your exercise......as in DON'T exercise for a couple days (or more) then start up again.......again JMHO......remember I haven't gotten to MY goal yet

D- chicken "cacciatore"

190 oz of fluids.....but not enough PLAIN water....I really need to do better tomorrow
