Temp is 14 degrees right now, it's -3 with the windchill factor. We're in a winter storm warning and with having 45 mph winds tomorrow's windchill factor will be -18 degrees! Gotta go to work...please pray for driving safety! Expecting 3 to 9 inches of snow too!
I'm so happy that I got to jog Saturday when it was in the 60's! See our crazy KS weather! No wonder I get sinus infection problems here!

OMGoodness....I am SO praying everyone stays warm, and safe! I got a message on FaceBook from a friend in Nebraska that the windchill is -21 with an air temp of 3! DH is on the phone with a friend in Colorado right now and the air temp is -3 and feels like -24 with the windchill....holy cow! He said the air temp tonight is supposed to be -17. BRRRRR

So I just have to tell you that here the temp right now is about 78

Mary - Wow! 78 degrees. College cancelled classes so we cancelled clinical orientation today and I stayed home. Horray! But we'll reschedule everything for tomorrow...hope everyone (and me!) can get there. DH came home from work about 1 hour ago and said on my side of the driveway there were 4 ft snow drifts and that I would not have been able to get out of the garage...wet, heavy snow. His side of the driveway had 1 ft drifts. The snow has been blowing sideways all day long!

We liked walking out on the island so much yesterday, that we repeated it. Today we drove it afterwards to get a better idea of how far it was and it was just over 6 miles

Super crazy wet miserable cold out today. yuck. No exercise, just bundled up on the couch all day.

B- LC shake
L- Baja salad from Wendy's w/chili (didn't eat the beans)
diet coke (should have had water)
D- Turkey franks, one LC bar
water

My cravings have finally subsided. I love it when I get to that point in the diet when I am not craving stuff constantly. That is what I love about lowcarbing....When I am not lowcarbing, I cannot think of anything but what and when my next meal will be...like a crack addict.

Anyway, I am down two more today!!! YAY!

Zumba DVD....I sure worked up a sweat! worked on total gym too

L- Crustless quesadilla with turkey, pork rinds
S-Protein shake with Diet Dr. Pepper
D-Grilled hamburger, cottage cheese

110 oz of plain water plus lots of other SF fluids

I have a headache Tomorrow I go back to 500-600 protein calories

No, no, no......there is a comma inbetween the quesadilla, and the pork rinds! (all though IF there was a way to do it my DH would try!)

I had a crustless quesadilla (1/2 C mozzarella cheese melted) then I added turkey to it....this time. The pork rinds were on the side in place of chips

Here is an idea instead of using crackers for an appetizer, use artichoke bottoms.

Smoked Trout and Artichoke bottoms

1 each smoked trout filet
1/3 cup sour cream (use chobani yogurt or lt s.c.)
1/4 each lemon juiced
1 tsp capers
1 each scallion, thin bias cut
2 tsp fresh dill
1tsp parsley, chopped
tt (to taste) salt
tt white pepper
1 can artichoke bottoms
flake the smoked trout with fork into small pieces
place the trout in a small bowl along with sour cream, lemon juice capers, scallions dill and chopped parsley
fold ingredients together gently. Season the mixture to taste with salt, white pepper and worcester sauce
spoon the smoked trout onto the artichoke bottoms with a teaspoon. chill well.
you can garnish with scallions cut on bias and small piece of dill inside scallion. Very pretty.
I don't want to throw anyone off their weight loss, but of my recipes this looks like a very medi- friendly one.

D: 1/2 cup of salsa and too much corn chips lucky for me I went ot the gym and burned 1,350 calories (I know still doesn't make it better)

Hey "Partner" That jogging, and running is VERY impressive.....GOOD for you!

2/7/11 Bill has decided it's time to get back to into weightloss mode....he was just maintaining his current loss, but hadn't lost more since around Thanksgiving I'm VERY happy

Wow, got out of bed at 7:30 and didn't go back to sleep today. No naps.

Got a little bit of yard work done and shopvac'd my truck for an hour. So I am counting that as a little bit of exercise since I did sweat. :0
Today it was not cold for some odd reason...oh well, that's the south for ya.

D- A little bit of chile relleno w/ fajita meat(scraped off all the fried starchy crust, reluctantly) tea and water

Went to a classical guitar concert at an Art gallery w/all my boys.

Had a late night snack... chicken leg and some spinach.
