Most grocery stores around here carry them in the vegetarian freezer section. They also carry them "shelled" but I eat really fast so having to get them out of their shell/pod slows me down (a little) ![]()

Still early in the day, so I'm not going to post my food info yet. But did want to brag about the excellent long run I had this morning! I started MWL on August 18th - so here I am almost 3 months later and I've lost 27 pounds! I think that my image of my body is finally catching up to my actual body right now - maybe that's why my 9-mile run this morning felt fabulous! It's been forever since I've had a run where I just got out there and enjoyed every step, never struggled and felt like I was actually helping my body rather than hurting by carrying around the extra weight! Talk about a great motivator! Thanks so much for my brief foray into "it's all about me" - this morning it was! Have a great day everyone

Did you see the People Magazine this month about Portia De Rossi and her anorexia? All she wanted was long, straight legs which led to her eating disorder. That spoke volumes to me. So yes... you are right. We need to work with what we have. Thank you. |

b-cm yogurt, banana
s-atkins advantage bar late lunch-fit and fresh veggie omellette from IHOP w/fresh fruit on the side and a side salad s-almond crunch No official dinner because of late lunch....went to a launch party and ended up at a taco shop afterwards. Didn't order anything but water but ended up eating a side of black beans and a veggie marinade thing which was cucumbers, tomatoes and onions. I suppose that's not bad but I HATE eating really late at night...I wake up feeling so nasty. I'm sure it will subside by tomorrow. Mother in law has been in town for three days and is here, staying with us, for another 7 days. It's hard not to stress eat. I am not a good overnight hostess. I like having guests but not guests who stay more than one day....an we all know how MILs can be. ![]() -No workout tonight. Had to sternly inform said MIL that my gym equipment is GYM EQUIPMENT and NOT a closet/laundry hamper! |

and so far today 11/14
b-yogurt
s-apple, pistachios l-"pizza", low carb wheat tortilla, string cheese, tofurky and parm cheese baked in a toaster oven at work.... decent for experimental lunch s-baked apple, in the same sad little toaster oven, gel snack d-will likely be some egg whites. my dad is coming over tonight and is bringing pizza. I really don't like regular pizza much anyway...so that won't be much temptation for me...I'm gonna try to eat before he gets there so I don't look like a weirdo eating my egg whites while everyone else has pizza. As long as everyone clears out/settles in by 745 or so, I'll do 45 minutes on bike and some misc weights |
