Ugh! I need to have a good eatting day today. I haven't been awful, but I've snacked on more than I should (all medi friendly), just too many calories. TOM was hard on my yesterday for some reason. Crampy, hot flashes, crabby, tired, bloated..... Yuck!
B- Adkins Endulge Bar L- Grilled Chicken lettuce wrap S- Cottage Cheese with cinammon (not my favorite but I'm learning to like it) D- Ham and Asparagus 128 oz of WATER (I drank a couple cans of soda yesterday, I usually limit it to just one, but I was cranky....) |

Trying to be more diligent this week after a slight gain over the weekend. I'm not even going to tell you what I ate to gain 3 lbs. Dare I admit that it was kind of worth it? lol I guess that's what maintenance is all about! Splurging but then fixing it accordingly.
B: Soy nut "energy blend", coffee, yogurt L: chicken sausage, turkey pepperoni S: chicken sausage, smoked ham D: fajita chicken, arugula, cow cheese, salsa S: coffee w/ sf vanilla creamer, healthy choice fudge bar calories: 1162 net carbs: 28g No exercise BUT I went to the gym today! I've been fine with my energy in (maybe a little more calories, but still Medi friendly), but I haven't been that great with my Energy out. It has been raining her a TON lately, plus we've been busy with all the back to school stuff, so I just haven't had the time to get my run in, or when I've had the time the weather stopped me. It's a struggle. I could do a DVD, but I HATE working out indoors. UGH! I did go on a 4 mile walk last night, and I am meeting my mom at a trail tomorrow morning and we will do 4 miles, but I haven't been running, which I miss.

Lins and Charlene - I know what you mean about missing your workout (though you two have always been more diligent than me in this). I've been commited to just 3 to 4 days a week and missed it today. I'll get out tomorrow for sure! I much prefer jog/walking outdoors and bicycling outdoors than inside. Over the years I've bought at least 15 exercise videos/DVDs...some are still in the wrappers because I change my mind. Such a shame. I want to keep up exercise this winter though. Gonna check out Zumba at the Y!
8-24-10 Tues B - plain tuna and celery (man I miss adding mayo in it!) L - plain lettuce salad and grilled chicken, no drsg D - talapia and broccoli (yum!) S - walnuts

Stacey, goodbyesaccaride, bannister7 - welcome to this accountabililty thread! You will find this helpful. We try to limit focus here on Energy In (food)/Energy Out (exercise). You are doing great! We all each still go over to the monthly threads too, ex: in September there will be a new thread started as the Awesome August thread will be "locked" /it can be read but it cannot be written into. You can look at former threads if you want to FYI.

I hear you on the storms, Lins. The I-4 storms that hit DAILY if not all day are making me want to crawl in a hole and sleep all day. I don't work out outside normally, but it drains my motivation, I don't think we have seen the sun in 2 days here in Seminole County! Bleh....

Day 8
B: egg whites & veggie sausage
S: laughing cow cheese L: cottage cheese & veggie turkey S: protein bar D: egg whites & veggie sausage 50 min. Insanity workout Really busy day at work - late meeting (complete with high calorie/high carb foods - that I didn't eat - yea me!). I didn't get home from work until 9:30! So dinner was quick and easy and the same as breakfast. Still felt good last night and felt good this AM - not starving like I thought I'd be! |

today
b-protein shake s-1/2 detour bar (the small ones) l-16 veggie pepperonis and LC cheese s-other half detour bar d-protein pancake s-snack pack sugar free gel snack/pb will do at least 45 minutes on bike, abs, legs In other news: I mixed up a new jar of the famous Kroger brand natural crunchy peanut butter to make my sons fave snack of pb and apples. The front of the jar says "New creamier texture" so I was like..."crap, it's gonna be even more irresistable...". NOPE. It's not as good as I remember it. It has been a couple weeks since I have had that kind cause we got some La Krema or something. I also bought PB2 again to keep my cravings in check....but I was somewhat happy and disappointed at the same time when I tasted it and it wasn't as absolutely delicious as I remembered it.
