If I'd had planned to go that long there is no way I would have tried it! I just kept challenging myself once I'd finish a couple minutes, and then I'd go longer. I'm really impressed too!

Nancy and Charlene-Now I'll be thinking of the Kroger PB too! But it's not such a temptation lately...I'm really satisfied with my Pure Protein PB Bar (Sunflower--this is the one we talk about and recommend, high protein but some carbs, though less than MOST). Nancy, I have to be accountable here, because if I'm not honest with my friends, it will be easier to lie to myself continuously....and I'm getting PAST that now!)
7-28-10 B-Pure Protein Choc bar S-regular almonds L-1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese and tomatoes D-lettuce wraps at Chinese restaurant, and er um 1/2 c white rice (I'm rebelling against my upcoming further allergy diet restriction, I know it) Exercise - none |

Nancy, peanut butter has been my weakness for the last couple of weeks. I bet I'm eating 300 to 400 calories of it at a time. The first thing I did when I read Charlene's post was to do a search on it so I'd know what it looked like at the store!

I'm a PB2-aholic, and eat it almost every night. I did manage to leave it alone for a few days, but then went right back to it. I just make sure I stay within my caloric intake and I do. PS I made the PB Fudge that Ortal posted somewhere (I had seen it on the about.com page, too) and they're delicious! Too good and remind me of the cookie dough of a recipe I used to make. I didn't even use as much sugar sub as recommended and used Better 'n Peanut Butter instead of RF PB and it worked great. Only thing is that it won't harden at room temp, so put in fridge to get it in cutting shape and then freeze it. Next time I make 'em, will try it with PB2 which has half the cals of Better 'n. But afraid to because they're hard to resist and I keep thinking about them. Will make smaller batch next time.

I never got into PB2. I love peanut butter, so that was a bummer. I gave it away in the end after giving it a few chances. Same with anything walden farms. yiccckkk.
Heres the plan for today. B - egg whites (90) and 2oz-ish canned chicken (60) - 150 L - chicken sausage (120) S - baby belle cheese (50) D - 4 oz Chicken breast (130) and something else. not sure yet thats approximate and very optimistic. we shall see |

I've been trying to avoid sabotages from my fiancee. He isn't making this process easy. He doesn't see that a small serving of something or a bite can have disastrous results. I know for a fact I lose slower than other people so I really have to be vigilant. Ugh.
Thanks for letting me vent. Yesterday's Menu B: EAS shake L: 4oz chicken, 8 oz salad shrimp S: slice of pepperjack cheese D: Chicken breast in frank's red hot with a small bit of gorgonzola Exercise: 30 min walk with dog and 45 min of surfing Cal in/out: 716/236 Today's Menu: B: slice of cheese, 3oz hillshire farm ham L: Chicken breast S: turkey pepperoni or EAS D: Unknown. Going to a work function :-(

No organized eating again today. Instead, started with a protein shake that left me hungry hours before lunch. Over ate at every meal and dang near every minute in between.
I'll just hit the highlights: Peanut butter. (Lots and lots of it. I've GOT to get this one under control.) Almonds. (Well thank heavens I finished the dumb things so I don't have to look at them tomorrow.) Cherries - maybe a dozen Apricot - ripe and juicy and so good! Turkey and cheese with mustard Some cottage cheese A Pure Protein bar (yes, all of it, tho I only ate 1/2 at a time, hours apart) EAS shake at work Jay Robb shake Apple I don't know if I'm going to be able to maintain. I'm sure my calorie total in maintenance is going to be around 1,400. I think I'd had 1,400 calories today by noon. I'm sure I'm around double that today. Exercise bike for 45 minutes I'm going to WRITE DOWN my food for the next week and try really hard to adhere to that with a daily calorie goal of 700. On days like this I have a hard time believing I had 500 calorie days. How did I survive??

Lea, are you still on the appetite suppressants? That's one of my biggest fears: going off of those. I'm taking only 2 a day and hoarding the rest. Could this be why you're so hungry? I think it's admirable that everything you ate is good food--nothing white, no bad carbs.
I think some of us need to join Peanut Butter Addicts Anonymous--I'll be a charter member. ![]() |
