Thanks Debbie!

Lea, so sorry about your daughter!! How terrifying!! Hang in there - no fun having sick kiddos.

I'm stuffed right now. Truly. My dinner was full of sodium apparently because I blew up like a dang blowfish. Now I'm just trying to guzzle water right now. I absolutely LOATHE being bloated from salt.

Lea, how's your daughter today?

My accountability - a little crazy.
B: yogurt, turkey, blackberries, coffee
S: EAS shake
L: chicken caesar salad - no croutons or dressing
S: turkey, cheese stick, jello w/ cool whip
D: turkey burger w/ cheese, mashed cauliflower
S: vitamuffin and low carb ice cream, chai tea

Calories: 1100
Carbs: 45

Exercise: used the heart monitor today so I know I burned 475 total. Intervals on treadmill, squats, abs.

I'm having a hard time getting all of my calories in without eating carby stuff. I lost another 2 lbs since last week's weigh in. I guess it will taper off eventually huh?

B - turkey sausage
L - chicken breast, yogurt
S - ham, guacamole on lettuce, almonds (one 100 calorie pack left)
D - turkey burger, cottage cheese, jello, Atkins bar

Walked at work. Lunge walks, squats, jumping jacks, jog sprints. Not my typical work out so I felt like I probably didn't do enough, but my legs are sore and weak!

Hi y'all! I hope you don't mind if I join you! I have been stalking this thread, so I figured I might as well join and be accountable with you! I'm Mandi, a stay at home mom to two little girls (ages 1 and 3). I've been doing Medi since Feb. and just hit -50! Woo hoo! I'm always on the lookout for new ideas!

B- Medi Bar (normally eat more, but ate this in the car on the way to my appt)
S- EAS Shake
L- Grilled chicken, grilled zucchini
S-Turkey pepperoni w/melted mozzarella
S- FF Cottage Cheese (when I realized there was no way I was going to get my calories in today without it!)
D- Baked pork chop

Workout: Wii EA Active sports: day 6 of 30 day challenge (27 min) + 20 min. of custom workout

Erin - thanks for asking about Carson. She's much better today. It's amazing what 24 hours on an antibiotic can do!

Welcome Mandi! We talked early on too on the main thread. Welcome to this one!

Debbie, I thought of you this morning when I was driving to work at 6:40 and the sun rising above the beautiful clouds just moved me. I wondered if you were out for your walk enjoying the sky as well. Guess not!!! I bet it was pretty sticky out there by 9:00!

Thanks for the warm welcome, ladies! Definitely have been busy with my girls and I'm still (even 4 months later!) trying to find that balance between being mommy/wife 24/7 and forcing myself to take time for myself...but I'm getting there!

Dumb day. I have a whopping headache and I think I was trying to make myself feel better. I'm at 1020 calories, 850 of which are protein, and 28 carbs. I ate like I was in maintenance today. And the worst part, I'm FULL. I went from just wanting a tiny bit more to being stuffed.

B - turkey sausage
L - ham, cheese stick
S - mushrooms, okra, cottage cheese, almonds, s/f Russell Stover peppermint pattie
D - hamburger meat, cheese, salsa, jello, Atkins bar
S - almonds (I swear, they are almost gone. My husband said I should just throw them out), Atkins peanut butter cup

40 minutes spinning

B - yogurt, beef jerky
S - almonds, p/b
L - jello, ham, cottage cheese, PB2 and Walden's chocolate syrup
S - Medi bar, almonds
D - Medi pizza foldover thing

Today is my mother in law's birthday and there's cake (my very favorite kind on the planet) sitting out on my table. I think I am going to allow myself a bite of it - either my husband's or my daughter's, then I'm going to have to find a home for the rest of it. I cannot have that in the house and expect not to eat it. Who knows tho, maybe it won't even be all that good.

Treadmill walk/run 50 minutes.

Not even a forkful of cake, but I had a taste. It really is as good as I remembered. While they're all out there eating cake and ice cream, I had another handful of almonds to follow my tiny bite of cake. I really need to go to bed!!

I blew it again.
Ending up with about 1100 calories. Rode the bike HARD for 50 minutes. Based on todays eating, I'm sure I'll still be out of ketosis tomorrow. I was just flat out starving from the moment I woke up. Every meal was an hour earlier than normal and every meal contained more calories than normal. I'm very frustrated!

6/19/10

B-carbmasters yogurt
S-Sonic route 44 diet sprite w/ Strawberries and light ice; 1 1/2 oz sharp cheddar cheese
L-DD and I went to Il Vicino restaurant - got spinach salad/red peppers & purple onions salad and at 1/2 of small chicken sausage pizza; only ate a portion of the crust; 2 glasses mango tea w/ nutrasweet
S-protein fudgsicle 1/2; Atkins Endulge Peanut Caramel Cluster Bar (I cannot buy these again--too easy to eat and not enough protein for the net carbs)
D-turkey bacon/lettuce/tomato "sandwich"--no bread

Exercise - circuit at YMCA for arms and legs; treadmill for 20 mins walking 3.5 mph and up to 6 mph jog intermittently; eliptical for less than 5 mins - I don't like this so much

I was horrible today. Fruit did me in!!! If anyone knows what an escamocha is then you'll know what I mean. Healthy and all natural does not mean it is diet friendly!!!

But I did spend an hour and a half swimming and doing pool exercises. I haven't been out of ketosis yet, but I bet tomorrow I will be.

Woohoo look at the hotty with the body, Lea!

Sorry I've been MIA - been swamped with life and ridiculous clients. I won't even go into it but sometimes I just feel like screaming, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME???"

Yesterday was kind of messed up. Being busy, I'm eating quick meals that aren't all that interesting. Eh.

B: Fiber Plus Antioxidant cereal, hood milk, carbmaster yogurt
L: chicken sausage, marinara, parm
S: smoothie - hood milk, ice, walden farms choc syrup, via espresso powder, 2 dark chocolates (100 cal total)
D: small caesar salad - no dressing, parm, chicken - wine
Got home and was FAMISHED so ate a cheese stick and an oz of low sodium turkey and 1/2 an atkins bar.

Wednesdays are my day off of the gym.
Total calories 1250

I LOVE that machine! My first few tries were pretty pathetic, but I finally got up to 45 minutes, on a level 10 (out of 20?) resistance and incline. I could burn like 800 calories at a time. But I ate 10 times more then, too. As of January, I gave up my membership at the Y and started getting serious at home. You guys know the rest!
