What should I expect?

My consultation is Feb 24 and I would like to know what should I expect my first week on the program?

Hi Tammy123 - At my 1st appointment they performed an EKG and took both a blood and urine sample. Once that was over I was weighed and then met with on of my clinics doctors to discuss the program in general and all of its phases, as well as what to do during week one. I received a lot of reading material as well as a bag with all of the supplements, a food scale, ketosis testing strips, the food journal, a pill holder and even a Medi Weightloss ink pen! They also provided me with a prescription for the appetite suppressant and instructed me to return a few days later for the MIC injection.

I would say that the first 24 hours were the worst. I've read on this forum where others have had severe headaches, body aches and fatigue. I didn't experience anything like that but I did feel very agitated the second night and little things that normally don't bother me were really making me mad. I started on a Thursday and just told myself that if I could get through the weekend by staying busy I would be fine and I was. That week I lost 9.5 lbs and that in itself was a great motivator for me to keep going and stay on the program.

Each week since then I have been given materials to read and follow for whatever week I was in and fortunately the staff at the clinic I go to has been superb...answering all of my questions/concerns etc.
This forum has been a wonderful source of support and information as well as inspiration to keep going.

Good luck and hope you'll keep in touch and share your progress with us.

They did not give me a pen, scale, or pill container. I even paid $711 for the new pt 8 week pay in advance discount. Am I supposed to get all of that?????????????? I had to pay extra out of my pocket to get that darn food scale!

I didn't get that when I started either. I think it varies per clinic and when you start. I got a medi water bottle when I started. And I was offered the food scale but would've had to pay for it. I already had one so I didn't get theirs.
