*Official Before and After Picture Thread*

Well I made these photos for myself and my family to share with them the success that I have had this year, and I suppose there is no better place to share them than here.

I could not have changed without both Medi Weight Loss, the LCF Medi Forums, and the support of my beautiful wife.

I looked forward every week to weighing in at Medi and seeing my weight loss results, sharing them with my wife, and running to the forums to update my "Stats" and bantering with the veterans on these boards. My wife followed the program with me for the most part although she ate more "maintenance" style throughout and just being near me lost 20lbs on her own this year.

I hope others share their before and afters, or before and current...or whatever you would like to share in this thread. In addition to my weight loss this year, I had quit smoking cigarettes on January 1st, 2009 and have now gone 1 year without smoking.

Like him, I'm still losing, but here are my pics! 1st one is from Easter 2009, so that's April 2009. 2nd one is December 24, 2009. 97 pounds down!

Wow Jessica~

Amazing. We started the same time too. Easter 2009 was my final "hurrah" so to speak as we had family and friends over to eat and hunt Easter eggs. I totally pigged out because I was due to start Medi in a few days.

I "think" April 15th was my official first day.

CCCOX- Thanks for the compliment! There have been a couple times where people who I haven't seen in a while have not recognized me right away! It's a very nice thing to have happen under the circumstances!

OK, so I started in April 2009 and lost 60 pounds in 5 months. Then I went in to maintenance in September and between September and December I lost another 11 pounds for a final total of 71. I filmed a tv commercial a few weeks back here in charlotte, NC and they also ran a print ad for a few weeks in the Charlotte Observer! I haven't scanned the newspaper article yet, but here is the commercial and a few pictures. The pictures are from Sept. 2009 when i was at the 60 pound mark and down from a size 18 to a 10, and i'm now an 8, maybe slightly less, just don't have any super recent pictures but you definitely get the picture!

I was my heaviest in the 2003-2005 timeframe (around 230 pounds). I started Medi the week before Thanksgiving 2008 at 218 pounds. It took me 6 months to lose 62 pounds and reach goal.

WOW!!! I had to log on at home because my work computer doesnt let me see pictures. Im usually very busy at night, but I just HAD to see everyone's results, and Im glad I did.

Ok, here are a few of me. Its only fair. I havent reached goal, but this is were I stand. I wish I could find some of my previous pictures from when I was an athlete, but that was a time before digital pictures.

Here I am just before I was pregnant, already 20lbs overweight. At this point I was 4 years behind powerlifting and I had stopped running alltogether and living a sedintary lifestyle.

Here I am last year, at my heaviest, 190. Yes, I was about to give birth, but again... this was my heaviest... ever.

And this is me, October 15th, just before starting Medi. (size 14 jean)

And now, this isnt a good picture, but its the only one of me over the holidays - and the most recent (I've been avoiding the camera). Im in a size 8 (albeit stretch) jeans and down 26lbs with only another 20lbs to go!

I noticed you each have children 16 months apart. (I'm sort of butting in to ya'll's before/after thread!) I just wanted to say that I have 3 children, 15 months apart each. I wanted to encourage you ladies from the viewpoint of being someone who's BTDT. I had three in diapers at once. I know how tired you are. How hard it is to make time for yourself. When my youngest was about 15 months old, I decided to lose the post-baby weight with Atkins and the FIRM. It took me 9 months to go from 200 to 155 and back into a 10/12. It was hard to do with three small children, but it was worth it. (I regained it all plus some during nursing school. Which, IMO, I wouldn't wish nursing school on my worst enemy.) KUTGW ladies! Don't lose hope. You can do this!

Hello, thought I would post my before photo and my "on the way to my goal" photo ( I am almost at my halfway goal.

This is at my heaviest a year ago on December 2009. I was on a friend's boat and when I saw myself, that is when I was determined to make plans to start a diet program. My mind was willing, but my body was not until this past December, I started the program.

Problem is that I'm still in 35mm days....I do have a recent one from Dec 09 to send "before." I haven't had any photos taken since I've lost 23 lbs, yet!

Good job! You CAN be under 200 by June! I'll never forget when I went below 200... I was so overcome by emotion that when I left the clinic I sat in my car and cried!

You must be new or hiding as I have not seen you post much on this forum! I see by your stats that you are sooooo close to goal and have lost over 100 pounds! That is awesome and am happy for you!

Problem is that I'm still in 35mm days....I do have a recent one from Dec 09 to send "before." I haven't had any photos taken since I've lost 23 lbs, yet!

I'll never forget when I went below 200... I was so overcome by emotion that when I left the clinic I sat in my car and cried!

I know what you mean. I have not been under 200 for over 14 years. I just can't wait to see it! You must be new or hiding as I have not seen you post much on this forum! I see by your stats that you are sooooo close to goal and have lost over 100 pounds! That is awesome and am happy for you!

I know that people have met goals and made significant progress since the last pictures were posted and am hoping that a fresh post will encourage more to share I love seeing before and after. It brings the numbers to life.
