Quick question - I am rejoining Monday! Yayyy
I did Medi about 2 yrs back and loved it. I was almost to goal weight when I lost my job, had to quit for financial reasons, got depressed and BAM - I gained it all back. So, now I am back to being gainfully employed and it's time to get serious. My question is this, when I went before it was 70. a week and it included your prescription (they gave you the pills right there). Is it still the same price or has it gone up?
TIA |

Yes, it is still $70 and they give the pills to you right there. At least that is the case at my clinic. Some other clinics may be different...

Yes at the Cranston clinic it is $70 a week and then an extra $15 is you want the B-12 shot. I think I am going to get the extra shot once a month. I haven't seen or felt a difference when I get it. I also buy their protein bars only because I haven't found ones in the store that are Medi compliant, so it usually costs me $70 - $85 a week. It is expensive but it is definitely worth it. Good luck to you!

I know it's so hard when you fall off.. but good for you for getting back on!! I haven't noticed any changes with the B-12 but some people, like you, say they do. I don't know.. I've gotten it twice so far (the 1st visit came with it) and then last week. Maybe once I keep going I will notice the difference. I haven't cheated yet either (except I had a few drinks over the weekend but it was Bacardi and diet shhhh!). It didn't kick me out of ketosis and I still had a good loss so I'm not that worried about it. I'm not going to go crazy with the drinks but once in a while in a social group I think is fine with me! I really like this program so far! How long did it take you to lose the 65 the first time??

Sorry - i haven't been on in awhile. I lost the 65 lbs in about 4 months. I wasn't able to keep the appt a few weeks ago and now I'm wondering if starting right before christmas is setting me up for failure. I have an appt a week from Monday...

And I began the program on December 19th, 2008. I am now on maintenance and have lost 112 pounds total. You can do it if you really want to and can really commit. If not, then I suggest you go back when you are really ready to do this for yourself.

You're absolutely right and you have inspired me
![]() When I did this before i never cheated - you would have had to tie me down and force me to eat anything I shouldn't. I did it before and I WILL do it again. Why wait a month - that's 20 less pounds I would lose right? Right! Thanks guys! |
