For those that don't lurk the other boards (like me) there is an interesting thread started elsewhere that I think you'll enjoy!! Thanks QCD for starting it!!
Nov 2 - Nov 6 Challenge
This weeks challenge is to get in all your water for the day! A mininum of 64oz.
Post your water intake daily on the enclosed forum and get credit!
Water and any electrolyte type beverage qualifies towards the 64 oz.
This is how we'll keep you motivated, if you know we're keeping tabs on you ;)
So, post daily. At the end of the week, we'll try to post who keeped up with challege!
Nov 9 - Nov 13 Challenge
This next challenge will be geared towards excersize.
Your challenge is to put in a minimum of 20 minutes of excersize daily. Excersize can be defined as walking, running, weight lifting, yoga, etc. Sorry ladies, shopping, vacuuming, or housework does NOT count. :p
Please log in your excersize daily, the amount of time, the calories burned and the source of your information.
For example: Walking for 30 minutes, 120 calories burned, treadmill OR running for 45 minutes, 300 calories burned, source = heart monitor.
You must log in DAILY, posting your prior days activity does not count towards the challenge. That way, you are held accountable for THAT day.
I will be keeping tabs and posting results. ;)

16 - 20 November Challenge
This weeks challenge is to have a journal entry each day.
Post your water intake, your food intake, your vitamin intake, whether you excersized or not, etc.
It doesnt matter what you've eaten, of if you've taken in all your water - that's not the focus. The important thing here is journaling.
Write what ever you'd like, and for this challenge, you can post for prior days.
This will also be a helpful tool for anyone who needs menu ideas.
Also, feel free to post any challenges you need...
Challenge for 23 - 27 Nov 09
This next challenge will be geared towards control.
Your challenge is to control yourself this week as your prepare, plan, cook, and attend Thanksgiving dinner.
No "tastings" during preparation and cooking.
No "cheating" with bite size portions of desserts.
Dont "give in" to the holidays.
And most importantly...

Share your concerns and if you have any ideas on how to beat the temptations, the family sabotage (you know, the parents, cousins, etc. that say "Hey, look you're losing weight, one bite aint gonna kill ya!")
Always keep a positive approach to any situation, and start practicing now in the mirror how you're going to respond to family stress. And, since you're already there looking in the mirror... tell yourself that "you are a winner" ... for me! ;)

Challenge for 30 Nov - 4 Dec
Going back into the excersize challenge from earlier in the month this week.
With Thanksgiving behind us, I thought this would be a good idea.
Challenge is the same as before, except that this time, you can post your prior days activities.
So, post your excersize, time, calories burned, source, etc.
