Does anyone know where to purchase the No Sugar Added Hunt's Spaghetti Sauce in the Charlotte area? I tried HT and Bi-Lo with no success. Though I'm not real crazy about miracle noodles or tofu spaghetti, I do eat them sometimes and would like to make some "fake" spaghetti with meat sauce.

Annie, I checked HT as well and didn't see it. If you find, it let me know!
Well, my crazy weekend (a wedding and a funeral, both out of state) got a lot crazier! I'm stuck in a hotel room on Halloween with THE FLU! I won't know what type until tomorrow as we are waiting to see how long the fever lasts. If it's more than 24 hours then I'm going to find an urgent care clinic and go in. I'm in a high risk category for H1N1 and my son is here with me, so I'm not playing around. Let's hope this doesn't set me back too far, but with being in a hotel my choices are so limited! I already had some Chick-fil-A soup so I know this is throwing me off. I will not let this stop me though, and I'm more than willing to go back to week 1 meals if I need to jump-start my body again. My husband keeps telling me to focus on getting better rather than my diet, but oddly, that's my #1 concern!

Annie- I used the canned marinara from Trader Joes. It has a green label and there is no added sugar. Delicious! I get most of my foods from TJs.

I am wondering is anyone else experiencing rapid hair and (strong/ hard)nail growth since starting Medi. I wear acrylic tips on my nails and normally when I take the tips off my nails are very weak. But not yesterday, my nail would not bend. I really felt bad for the tech doing my pedicure, she seem to be realy struggling to cut my toe nails.

I have still not been able to find the Walden Farms peanut butter, ranch dip, or the caramel dip in any of our Harris Teeters around here. Anyone around here in the Charlotte area where I can get these?

I know the feeling about the TOM. My Friday WI only showed .6 of a loss and my trainer said it was due to the week before and hormones and retaining water.....arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the JOYS of being a woman! And yes, the weekends ARE too short! Have a great week!!

Wow QCD!! Hope you feel better soon... and hope the test come back ok.
Just stay focused and strong for yourself and for your son. Why not try making some chicken soup? Maybe putting together a chicken breast in some FF/Low So. broth with some "allowed" veggies would be good for you. Take care!! ![]() |

Candy-I have an extra of all three that I ordered from Netrition. I'll sell them to you for less than I paid from Netrition if you'd like. Do you go to Ballantyne??

Hey everyone! Thanks for the good wishes! It has been confirmed - H1N1. So I'm down for the count this week - I'll have to take it back to week 1 next week. It's a big setback, but I'll get over it and be back and ready next week!

Didn't see the canned marinara, but the bottled at TJs does not list sugar as one of the ingredients. I also buy a lot there since I live within walking distance from the one in So Charlotte. It was the same kind I purchased pre-Medi, and I love it! Just assumed it was full of sugar and never thought to read the ingredient list. Thanks for the tip! BTW, at Trader Joe's they have frozen fire-roasted peppers & onions that I use all the time. They are so good and can be added to just about any meat for a fajita type meal. Just one of the many items I buy in multiples there. Yum!

Jennifer,
Have you made it back to Charlotte or are you still stuck in a hotel? It's bad enough having H1N1, but not being at home is just wrong! I'm thinking of you. Eat what feels right until you're well. |

I second Tracy's recommendation to go to the Netrition site. I've ordered Walden Farms products from them a couple of times along with PB2. The ordering process is simple; the shipping is fast; and some of the prices were actually cheaper than local prices.

Oh my goodness, thank you so much for asking, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! ![]() It is seriously the greatest thing ever, I've been wearing it for about 5 weeks now I think and I think it is incredible! I am so motivated to track all of my daily stats, I just live to try to hit certain levels and targets. It allows me to track pretty much every activity that I do, and I can isolate the calories for certain things, so where I find it most helpful is in learning what i'm really burning during a workout. So where I was estimating I was buring between 350-450 calories per P9OX workout, I have learned that it greatly varies between the kinds of workouts I do -- some are less than that, some are more. So it makes me a great deal more accurate in understanding what I am burning. It also lets me keep my treadmill honest! The days I walk or run on the treadmill I look at the calories I burned and then I plug in my Gowear Fit and compare, and its always lower on the GWF than the treadmill showed me. Also, it tracks your sleep and quality of sleep, so I always enjoy plugging in in the morning to see how much I slept and what the time was that I actually slept vs. rolling around or laying there. Not really useful for weight loss per se, but really interesting nonetheless! I wear it about 23 hours per day and I completely don't know I'm wearing it at all, until I see it in a pictre, you don't feel it at all. I sleep with it, work with it on, work out with it on, on all the time. I track my food on the daily plate and I keep a spreadsheet that shows me calories in and grams of fat, protein and carbs, and then calories expended in the day and then I isolate the calories just for my workouts and list those separately. That helps me see in a glance what I am burning overall and what is specific exercise. I know its not inexpensive, but it has been a great tool that I just thoroughly enjoy using. It is giving me the missing pieces of the puzzle, and allowing me to relax a little bit about the numbers and dropping my fat % -- I know what i'm buring, I know what i'm taking in, and I know that the fat % will follow. Lastly it is helping me to learn what it takes for me to have a day that is "active enough" without specifically working out -- what I mean by that is I know what it takes for a day I can't get a specific workout in, how much I need to get moving. So on a day I can't work out for some reason, I know I better get a walk in at the mall at lunch, take a zillion trips to the printer on the other side of my office, park the car as far away as possible, etc. OHHHH and one more thing I would say that is awesome about this thing is that it lets you set your own targets and then it sends you messages when you hit your targets! So if my target is 8000 steps a day, it will beep and give me a read out when I hit that target. Same with calories burned in a day, and levels of exercise, both moderate and vigorous. I set a target for each type of exercise per day, and I like to know when i've hit it. You can also set alarms for whatever you want, so I have one set for 9am and 4pm to remind me to drink my water! ![]() So that may be more info than you wanted, but I LOVE IT, it is awesome!! If you have any other questions, please ask, and thanks for reminding me to report back!! ![]()

Thank you for the info, and all the explanations on how you use it.
I have to get one now! I think the sleep app is so interesting too. I was worried about the comfort of the armband so I am glad to hear it is not bad. Very cool toy! ![]() Thank you!! ![]() |

So I'm sitting in the dentist chair getting fitted for 2 crowns and had a filling replaced. I think my Christmas money this year may have to go to paying off this bill! This is really not any fun at all! Hope everyone else is having a better day!
