Considering doing Medi on my own
I wonder if anyone here has done Medi on their own. I am disapointed with my clinic and staff. They take a long time to answer the phone, leave you on hold for a long time. I have waited as long as an hour for my appointment nd when my turn comes in they are rushing me out of the office. Last week when I went in to get my additional MIC injection they left me waiting for over 30 minutes while the 4 people in the office talked about personal things. I could hear them laughing and gigiling. After getting my shot I told the lady that I wanted to ask her a question and she walked away to never come back. I waited 10 minutes at the counter until I asked another one of the attendants if the lady was coming back. She never did , so the other one sold me some bars and send me on my way. I don't think that there is another Medi clinic around and I don't think I want to return to the office after such bad treatment. Has anyone suceeded doing Medi on their own. My body is already accustomed to the low calorie intake, so I do not need the AS. What does everyone think?

I am sorry to hear that. My clinic is AWSOME! But if I were you I'd make a point to speak with who is in charge of that clinic about your concerns, or email the corporate office about your problems. Either way the NEED to be addressed. As far as doing it on your own, I wish I could answer that but I am only in week 5 and need the clinic for my accountability. Good luck with your outcome.

I am doing it on my own. I just can't afford Medi. I have a great support system and so far it's working! I went to my doctor and asked for an appetite suppressant and he will monitor me once a month and then eventually every 3 months.
I am so thankful for my support systems and I am really doing well with this WOE! |

Amber - good for you for doing this on your own! That is awesome! Keep up the good work!
I think it would have been hard for me at the beginning but think I could perhaps do it now on my own although I really enjoy the clinic I go to and still like (and need) the accountability. |

Good job Amber, when you are determined you can do just about anything. You were given great tools to run with and you seem to be doing a great job. Plus this website is just awesome for helping with those questions and not to mention great ideas. Keep going!
CGT - I understand a frustrating clinic. Jessica and I also go to a clinic that is not the most helpful. If you are determined you can probably do it. You know what to do. Good luck in your decision. These decisions don't come easy. Keep us posted. |
