Question about Dreamfields pasta...

Hi everyone. I have been reading all your posts and trying to decide which yummy recipes to try.
I tried to search for any info on the dreamfields pasta on this site, but wasn't able to find any relating to the WOE.
I spoke to the nutritionist at the clinic, she said she would call the manufacturer to ask some questions. My question is, is anyone using these with any success? According to the website and the package they have only 5 grams digestible carbs per serving.
Thanks for any info you may have.

No way for me. Those numbers do not add up and I have read that a lot of people have problems with them triggering binges and causing stalls.

No way for me either! First off, I'm still in the acute phase where I don't not count Net Carbs, but total carbs period. Second, 190 calories for a 2oz serving (dry) would not be worth it to me regardless of the phase I'm in. I have much better uses for those calories! Processed carbs are what made me gain weight and caused me to crave more carbs. I wouldn't go back there and start that spiral again. I'd rather eat 190 calories of lean proteins, low-sugar & low-starch veggies and fruits - and get a lot more food that way too.

I would agree with McBoo. The numbers do not work for us. In my experience, when I allow myself to eat something that feels "carby" even if it's technically OK, I start to crave carbs and can end up in a stall.

Also, if you haven't yet tried them yet, shirataki noodles (Miracle Noodles or Konjac Foods carbless and calorie free noodles or House brand shirataki noodles with tofu with 40 calories, 6g carbs and 4g fiber per bag) take care of that pasta fix for many of us. Others can't stand them though.

My clinic says that they are okay in moderation and only in Maintenance/Wellness, definitely not in the Acute phase. And, as with anything like this, where I cannot totally define how Dreamfield's get their numbers, use at your own risk and with appropriate caution.

Thanks for your advice. I will let you know what my clinic says after calling over to the company.
