Day 1

Day 1 and so far so good!! I'm so excited about this journey! I was told because I have a pseudo tumor that they couldn't put me on any appetite suppresants, so I'm hoping I can make it through without them. Any advice from you guys would be great!!

Did your clinic suggest the Stay Slim product to suppress your appetite? I think that some people who can't take the prescription appetite suppressant take that herbal formula instead during the acute phase. It contains Hoodia Gordonii (and caffeine - in case you are caffeine sensitive).
I know from having read all through the MEDI threads that a number of MEDI dieters use the Hoodia Power Pops (but only 1 per day as opposed to the 3/day that the Power Pop people advise - too many calories for more than 1/day). Also, some use Mega-T Fat Burner/Appetite Suppressant (available at Sam's, Costco, CVS, Kroger...) which contains green tea extract and hoodia, among other things.
Even though you cannot take the prescription appetite suppressant, I'm certain that something else can help with appetite issues. As crobyninc suggested, why not bring this and any other issues over to the September thread - I'm sure there will be some good advice and someone else who has already had to deal with this issue (maybe not b/c of tumor, but for some other medical reason).
Good luck!
-Jane

Thanks guys! Heading over to the September thread. Thanks for keeping me straight.

And Jane, she didn't suggest the Stay Slim, not sure, but may have to call them to ask why, may have to get some Hoodia as well.
