Strech Marks and sagging skin

How has your skin reacted to the rapid weight loss. Has anyone used any creams or lotions to prevent strech marks and sagging skin.

I don't have a huge amount of weight to lose but I am using virgin coconut oil.. both in my diet and directly on my skin. It seems to make my skin soft and firm and my cellulite has improved.

Hello and a hearty:welcome: to the group.

I would suggest bringing your question over to the main August thread. You are more likely to get a lot of responses there. Other than the recipe threads, the main thread for the month is where most people go first. .

Also, the MediWeightLoss encourages exercise throughout the program and afterwards as well. Exercise minimizes any problems you may encounter unless you have 100s of pounds to lose.

Like Jo said, Medi reccomends exercise with the plan to help. However I do have a lot of loose skin but I am noticing changes with the exercise. Time will take care of it or like Jerry is doing he is getting a tummy tuck in the very near future to help with his losses.

As soon as I lose my weight I'm getting everything lifted and tucked. You name it, I'll tuck it. Therefore, the rapid weight loss doesn't bother me in the least

I'm really REALLY concerned about this... I guess I should ask the clinic when I go tomorrow?

Desert-Rose7 10-05-2009 05:55 PM

Please bring this concern over to the main October thread for more responses. And to be perfectly honest, this should not be an overriding concern UNLESS you are miserably out of shape. Following the plan with the recommended exercise should take care of any issues...but for your own peace of mind, go ahead and ask them.

Sagging and Loose skin

Even though I have always enjoyed some form of exercise, I too have a problem with the sagging skin. Even speaking with a personal trainer who competes all the time, said that a tummy tuck would be very beneficial for me. I exercised all the time even before going on and failing with Medi Weigh Loss. Once the diet pills were gone, the appetite came back like a speeding freight train. South Beach is very similar and there are no weekly checks to write or prescriptions to take. JMHO.
