Great job, my hubby is following with me as well, however I am the only one going in for weigh ins and meds, but it is a real help to have him along with me for the ride!

Yay!! I got back from my weigh in and lost 3.5 pounds this week!! I was so excited since the past four weeks it's been a consistent 1.5 pounds. I am only 11 pounds away from goal weight. I think it was the rollerblading for a hour that helped push me along. I had not been roller blading in years. Now I find out it burns a ton of calories!! I think I found a new thing to add to my cardio

I made a mistake with my August numbers. My August weight loss is 25.5 lbs.
July was 20lbs and August was 25.5 for a total of 45lbs lost.

Long time lurker, first time poster to the MWL group.

First off, thank you so much for all those that contribute so much of their time and valuable information to this forum. It really helped in my decision making to join. Much appreciated for sure.

I am on Day 1 and feeling good. I had done a very similar program about 8 yrs ago and did very very well, but there was not as much counseling, and no maintence program, so I just slipped right back into the old ways of course. That was one of the big reasons I joined Medi was because of the after support. I know this works, and just need the added talking to when the time comes I guess. I wasn't going to post because I feel the shame in gaining back all that I lost plus some of course, but if I am going to do this right I feel I need to face reality and not hide from it anymore.

Thanks again and I look forward to checking in and seeing everyones great progress

Hi Jo - I think I lost 8.5 this month - I got a little off my count when I was gone for three weeks. I actually don't weigh in at the clinic until Thursday... these last lbs are coming off slower but I am sticking to the program - at my last weigh in I was down another 6 lbs of fat but only a couple of lbs overall. Ha - happy to get rid of 6 lbs of fat anytime! My BMI is at 23 so I am thrilled with that!

Eight lbs to goal... I REALLY want to be at goal by the end of the month! May or may not happen but as long as I stay on program - I will be happy regardless of where I am.

Great job everyone - such a great thing to be a loser

I am there people!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am at goal. SWEET!!! Now, I really just want to lose another 5 for good measure. I am also doing alot of weight training. I am in size 6 and 4 depending on brand. So all my pre preggo with twins clothes FIT!!! Very happy.... and i rewarded myself with a brand new pair of Nike Zoom Air runnign shoes and some new workout clothes.

So my new goal is body fat percentage. I am at 25% I want to get down to 21%.

Thank you guys for all your support and awesome ideas and advice, this place rocks.

Hello "losers",

My husband and I started the program last friday and are very excited about how easy these first few days have been. I did fight that horible headache the first two days but it is gone now.

I read every single one of the posts on the newbie area and the information was wonderful. I opened a word doc and cut/paste info that I really liked to refer back to.

Question: Does anyone in Dallas/Richardson know where I can but the Miracle Noodles? I look at Target, Kroger, Tom Thumb and Whole Foods to no avail.

Also for those that need a quick lunch. I am a nurse working 12 hour shifts, and never know what time I will get a break to eat. I took a "Sweet Sue Chicken Breast" pouch (90 calories) and 3/4 ff cottage cheese. Once ready to eat I just mixed them together with a little pepper. It was really good and filling.

Thanks for all the info. I look forward to losing with y'all!

I have seen Miracle Noodles at Roy's Natural market in Preston Royal. However, I'd call first (214) 987-0213. I ordered mine direct from the company web site, MiracleNoodle.com. They arrived quite promptly. I know that many people are on an autoship plan to receive noodles every 30 to 60 days. If you can't locate, I'd order online - you have 14 days to return for refund if you don't care for them.
Also, I'll respond here to your inquiry on the newbies thread about how to keep your energy up, especially without the mid-week shot. Others here who don't go in for the second shot will probably have the best advice, maybe for additional supplements, etc.
Overall, I'd just be prepared, prepared, prepared! Keep liquids on hand to stay well-hydrated (and know where all the closest ladies' rooms are!). Keep easy to carry healthy foods with you that you can munch a bit of here and there as you feel hunger or a fade coming on. That way you won't be tempted to cheat and let yourself down. As a nurse, you'll be on your feet quite a bit during those long 12 hour shifts. When I'm on my feet all day or in the car all day, it always helps me keep going if I take a few moments to breathe deeply and consciously and to bend and do some stretching, even just a little. It seems to reawaken my senses.
BTW, I know what you mean about the short hours at our Richardson clinic - that and the far-away location are the only things I wish I could change.
