Sleep (Or lack there of) HELP!

I just started the plan this past Monday. Its now day 4 and I for the most part everything has been ok....... I did get a serious 24 hour spurt of some kind of stomach flu, but besides that my only problem seems to be sleep. I CAN'T GET ANY!! I am up all night, tossing, hot, "thumping" and just cant relax. Help, thoughts? I can't wait until monday, my next appointment, as I will go insane by then. Must be the meds but what?? And what to do??

It is probably the medication either the Fat Burner or the Appetite Suppressant. What time are you taking these? Do you have caffiene in your diet and what time? You may need to take your last meds eariler in the day or cut the appetite suppressant in half on your last dose of the day.

I would call the clinic today and see what they say.

Good luck
Robyn

I would cut out any added caffine in the form of coffee or diet sodas and then I would make sure to take any of the meds (appetite suppresant and fat burner) WELL before you go to bed. I had that problem for a couple of days in week one, then I changed the time of my meds and I have been ok. If it gets to be too close to bed, i have been skipping my last AS & FB. It hasn't happened too often, but I need my sleep, too!

I go to sleep around 11, I try to take my last pills before 5. Sometimes I wake up a little hungry in the morning, but then I just have some egg whites and an AS and I am fine.

Sleeplessness

I have been on the program six plus weeks, and have lost 36 pounds, but the sleeplessness is still an issue. Where I used to fall asleep at my desk, I now can't fall asleep until 2 or 3a.m. However, I'm NEVER tired, so it is a harmless by product of doing something healthy and worthwhile. Hang in there..

what time are you taking your fat burner? Could that be the culprit?

It depends on what is in the appetite suppressant....if it is something that might keep you awake...if not that, then maybe something in the fat burner?

Thanks ALL YOU guys for your responses. I think that is what it is......my AS and my FB was at 3, so I dropped the AS completly, and the FB at 7 I Think, at least tonight, I will drop it as well.

I see the Doctor on Monday, but he wasnt avaible today. But when I asked about takign teh FB at 11 3 and 7, would the 7 keep me up, he said NO the FB doesnt have that effect, so is it just the AS?

This is really such a great network....

We are very much the same to in weight to lose-- I am a person who excesirees a lot, are you? I am 5'7"7 180 sz 10 wanting to go down to my 140 sz 4, adjusted for your height, you seem like you have the same goal, track as I do.

Because I was thinking, when my blood pressure was taken they were like, wow you really do workout don't you you have a really low resting pulse-- I also have high energy to begining with as well (HAVE TO I HAVE TWINS!! 18 MONTHS!) so i am wondering if the AS is just maybe to strong for my body type/weight/exersize level? I don't know. I am going to try lowering my dose tomorrow. 1/2 a pill at 3 with a FB and just FB at night and see what happens, but tonight I have to sleep.

Some asked if I drink caffeine, which i don't, none at all.

Yea, we do have about the same amount of weight to drop. My blood pressure was good when they took it the last time. I work out also. I dont know what it is. Thats a good idea to take half of it bc when I take it as a whole I'm bouncing all over the walls trying to get into something. I think I will try half also!
