The other evening I was really wanting something sweet, but had already had my allotment of fruit, so I remembered seeing a post somewhere about using pork rinds as a base, then spraying a TINY amount of buttery spray on them, and sprinkle them with Splenda, and cinnamon, then I popped them in the microwave for about 10 seconds. They are NOT as crisp as they are before being "nuked", but they really did the trick!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bites - came from medi on week 6 handout.

1/2 cup smooth reduced fat peanut butter
2 scoops medi-weightloss chocolate protein shake
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup splenda
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup crushed almonds

put all ingredients (EXCEPT ALMONDS) in mixer or food processor & blend. Use a spatula to place mixture onto saran wrap. Roll into 1/2 inch balls then roll in almonds. Freeze for 1 hour. Makes appoximately 16 servings.

serving size 1 bite
Calories 63
Carbs 4g
Fat 4g
Protein 5g

My new favorite snack is I now take Greek Yogurt and add sugar free chocolate pudding mix about to taste..1 cup of this has about 130-150 calories depending on the yogurt
