Any Florida folks (Tampa esp!) know about D'Lites?

I found this place when I was hunting for the LB peanut butter that Jo mentioned. They say they sell a lot of the Medi-friendly products that are mentioned on this forum like Walden Farms and DaVinci.

I'm interested to hear if anybody has been there and if they really offer a LC, low calorie Ice Cream that would make the trip worth it! Might be nice to know whether this could be a 50 cal "treat" for something like a birthday.

D Lites Low Carb Ice Cream, anyone heard of it?

And Nikki mentioned it when I 1st started but that was when I was in week 1. I am definitely checking this place out on our next "date night"

When I first started LC they had one in South Pasadena/Gulfport that I went to a couple of times and it was pretty good not great but back then we did not have any LC Ice cream in stores LOL
They closed and I think they still have one in Sarasota I did not know about one in Tampa.

I usually just end up getting the Blue Bunny at Super Walmart but that is at Home not when you are out.

Have had their ice cream 3 times now! LUV IT - a small serving is really more than enough.
Last visit was a special treat I allowed myself as a reward for finally accomplishing a difficult balance in yoga class; Samoas ; tasted JUST LIKE the darn girl scout cookie.

Just an update because Robyn asked

This stuff rocks. Seriously. I had exactly 1/4 c serving and so I will be interested to see if my body reacts to it at all. I had the plain chocolate and it was very much enough to have 1 small serving (no toppings, of course). It's pretty sweet to me, or maybe that's because I am now used to no sugar in my diet!

Robyn, I'm not sure that I would keep it in the freezer. It's really good but for me that would probably be too much temptation. I think in my case it will be something to enjoy very rarely when we're on a date. The location is totally inconvenient for us, which is great! LOL.. no chance of going by there too often, so it has to be a special trip!

Note that you can purchase PB2 and Walden Farms at D'Lites!

Jessica - did you go to the South Tampa location or the one on Fowler by Mosi?

There is still a D'Lites in St Pete - In Diston Plaza on 49th Street ; that store carries the Miracle Noodles as well as Walden Farms and PB2.

Hey Nikki, I went to the Fowler one. We live in Pasco, so it's slightly closer.. not much though! My husband actually went for me because I had to work and I had a really stressful weekend. I want to go myself to explore the LC foods area!

If you live in Pasco, then Spring Hill location might be closer? It is on Spring Hill Drive just off of the expressway. I was so afraid when I was eating it, because it did taste REALLY good. I tested on a Ketone strip 4 times before going to bed. (I think they are telling the truth about the carb count cause my stick stayed in the pink! LOL)

Hi - I've been to the D'Lites Countryside shop. Their ice cream is definitely low carb, low cal, low sodium, low sugar. Nutrition sheet right on the counter. This place has PB2, Julian breads (bought the paleo-awesome) Walden Farms, and a bunch of low cal brownies, bagels, squares, muffins and chocolite bars. My only problem is that I buy it all!
