Thanks for the encouragement! I'm excited to be in week two. I can feel and see the difference and feel confident that I'll pass the 10 pound mark this week. So far I've only added in almonds -- which I was thrilled to do -- I love them and they CRUNCH! LOL But your advice was great -- 100 calories isn't a worry. Hope your week is awesome, too! |

Thanks for the encouragement. I was discouraged, but I'm feeling much better. Wow, I see that you have surpassed your goal! Congratulations! Your advice was right on target and obviously it has worked for you! I have only added in almonds, so far, but I'm thrilled with that. And I have missed salad. Thanks for taking time to post. I sure appreciate it. ~Ronism |

I weighed in after week 1 yesterday. I was down 8.6 of which 4.2 was fat. I was very happy. I am excited about what is to come and getting to add vegetables and fruits. However, I am confused about how much to eat. I am now waiting on a call back from the center.

Weighed in yesterday evening and lost 6.9lbs. 6lbs of fat, so that was good, but I was slightly disappointed. Wanted a bigger loss my first week.

week 1 results
I'm down -6.8lbs my first week. -4.2lbs of fat -2.1 lbs water, so what's the other 0.5 lost from????? Tried a medi weight loss cinammon pecan protein bar, it was yummy, expensive at $14for 7/box. But I figured this is worth it, because I can keep these at work, and use them when there is not time for eating. |

Week 1
Glad to finally check in here... Week one weigh in produced a loss of 11.4 lbs! Going on vacation next week so I'm hoping to be able to keep up my water intake as best as I can.

Lost 8 Pounds!
So happy to have lost 8 pounds!!!!
Very glad the misery of the first week paid off! It was rough the first two days, but by the middle of day three, it just felt like I could do it. Didn't take the prescription at all--just the Fat Burner supplements. |

11.4 pounds in my first week. 6 days later, down another 3.6. I am so excited and now see why they call it "the one that works!"

And Shar, I'm extremely proud of you... we do a lot of these little 'weight-loss tests' and none of them have been anything we've stuck with more than a few days. You did so incredible this past week, and we're going to kick @$s over the next few weeks and knock these goals out of the park! I'm proud of both of us for sticking with this! Thanks everyone on the boards who are supportive of everyone's journey through Weight-Loss! Your encouragement definitely is helpful, especially when things get tough! |

I made it through week 1...
...and I lost 7.5 lbs! All that hard work paid off. I also found that my thyroid is out of whack and I need a 2nd opinion from my Dr. Oh boy.

Hi All-
I had my first weigh-in this morning and I am happy to report that I am 15.2lbs down. I don't want to get too excited because I am more concerned about W2 more than anything else. Great job to everyone who have posted their results...every bit we lose is positive! |

Way to go, Bingo!
I weighed in on yesterday with 9.2lbs lost. My pants fit better, I have a spring in my step, and the hills are alive with the sound of music. Excited about this journey! |

I've been looking over my Tanita printouts this morning trying to understand how much of it is actually fat loss as opposed to water weight. |

Trying to figure out how to use this forum but glad I found you all. I've been trying to loose 10 lbs for the last 3 months - working out everyday and eating lower carbs. But I've actually GAINED 7 lbs in the last 6 wks (hopefully from the birth control I started 6 wks ago?). I was sooooooooooo frustrated yesterday! I'm so glad I found this program.
I hope my wk one results are as good as you all have had! |

Lost 5.7 lbs first week.. 3 lbs fat.. yay!! so onto week 2... how many oz is 1 cup of salad? mesclun mix is fluffier than a wedge of plain head lettuce. are there any guidelines out there? .. I'd rather weigh than guess.. I cup = 8 oz .. but a WHOLE BAG of prewashed greens is on 5.5 oz... so that can't be right... help?
