Nausea/Diarrhea- Help!

Hi everyone,
I am only on day 2 but I'm really struggling with the pills Having to take the fat burner and appetite suppressant on an empty stomach and wait an hour to eat is really doing me in. I threw up both when I took my 11am dose today, so that's not doing any good at all! I am not good at taking pills on an empty stomach.. I get really nauseous.

In addition, I have had diarrhea since yesterday afternoon non-stop (TMI, I know). It's really bad. I'm not sure what the problem is.

1). How important is it to take the pills an hour BEFORE eating? Is there any way I can take them with food??

2). Any ideas about the diarrhea??

Hubby is upset because he thinks this diet is making me sick. He's supportive but doesn't like seeing me in discomfort. Please help

Hi M2G

I have never taken my pills an hour before I eat, I usually take them with my breakfast, lunch and then dinner. Currently I am taking my Vitamin and Colon pill in the morning with the Fat Burner and App Supp, it has been working better for me. I too have never been a fan of taking medication on an empty stomach. It has not affected me, so I would try taking your pills with your 3 main meals. But when you go to the clinic, just double check with them. If they are making you sick then they are not helping you anyway.

As far as the diarrhea, it is probably your body flushing the carbs out of your system. LC causes flu like symptoms. I would not be surprised if you are now in Ketosis. However once your body gets into the rhythm of things with Medi, watch for constipation, many of us deal with it. That is why I am taking the vitamin and colon cleanse in the morning with a colace, it seems to help things move - lol!

Tell you husband this is all a part of your body getting rid of the carbs and you will be a different person in a day or 2. Hang in there and don't give up. And besides, when you get to 180 in a few months, he won't even remember all this!

I take my pills at 7am, 12-1pm when I eat lunch and between 5-6pm depending on when we eat dinner.

Good luck and hope you feel better tomorrow.

I can't take pills on an empty stomach either. I always take mine with my meals and it has not affected my weightloss.

OK, that's really good to know! The people at the clinic really stressed that I needed to take them 30min-1hour ahead of time, so much that I even had the nurse write it down. So I wonder why they said that??

In any case, I took my late dose today with some food. I just couldn't do it again without food. Tomorrow morning I am getting up and taking the meds with food instead of waiting. It's just thrown off my whole system.

Thanks so much for the help. Today was very rough but I have made it through so far!

When I was taking them if I took them on an empty stomach I would be in the bathroom just like you. I always took them with my meals.

The supporting documentation you got, says to take the vitamins, calcium and fat burner with a bit of food. The app supressant is just that, it is so that you tend not to over eat, so taking it before meals makes the most sense. However, a lot of folks are like you and can't take drugs on an empty stomach. I take mine with the food, just because they are all there together and it is just easier. I also make what I am going to eat, before I take the drugs. That way, I know that I am on plan, and that is all that I am going to eat so I know that I'm not going to over eat before the drug has a chance to kick in. It will get better if you hang in there and know that the end game is really where you want to be. Week 1 wasn't too bad for me as I have dieted alot over the last 5 years or so, but for some reason Week 2 was a mofo. I spread the app suppressors out a little bit, taking my last one at 5:00p instead of 3:00p as suggested and that seemed to take care of the late night cravings. Good luck and hang in there!!

Just another voice here. I take my appetite suppressant just a little after I get up in the am, and I am an early riser up at 530a-600a..along with my other herbals. I take them with a little tea or coffee. That helps the tummy. The fat burner and others need to be taken with a little food, just as johnlatte says, and even on the fat burner bottle it says the same thing.

Just for a note here as to what works for me (each person is different):
App supp upon rising/at 1pm/and at 5pm
Fat burner at 11 am/at 3pm/and at 7pm

After 20 weeks and 60 lbs, this is what works for me. It took several weeks to figure out what worked best. And I worked out the schedule with my clinic and have their approval. So stay with it, and you will find out what is best for you.

Jo
