Medi Without Using Diet Supressants

Is anyone going through Medi and not using the Diet Supresants? I have been using them for 3 weeks with no problem. I went to my doctor today and he wants me to stopt taking them.
Is anyone doing this diet without them and how is it working out for you?

I am on week 2 and was only taking 1 per day until a couple days ago (the 3 per day kept me up ALL night long). I am off them now and do not feel hungry. Do you mind me asking why your dr. said to stop taking them?

Diet Supressants

He told me it was not good for the heart or blood pressure. That was enough for me to hear.

FYI~As with any weight loss program, MWL needs to be undertaken with the advice and direction of your physician, as your physician will be your ally along with the clinic during the program.

My physician recommended the clinic to me, and approved the use of the meds. It is dependent upon your personal situation. What is right for one person may not be right for another.

Because MWL is a major lifestyle change, it is important that you have the support of your physician. Many people in the program are considered clinically obese having large amounts of weight to lose and are doing so successfully. Medical supervision from your physician along the way is essential.

And again, what works for one may not work for another depending on your own personal situation.

I wish you success!

Hi,
I am doing the Medi program without the appetite suppressants, I have never tried them. I have to say the fat burners really help me with hunger/cravings.
Every person is different so you should be advised by your doctor.
I have lost 19 pounds since Feb. 15th ( I am also a vegetarian, I do eat Cod/Salmon and eggs)
The Medi program is a life style change, I now know so much about food, portions and nutrients. The journal is a big help - for keeping it real.
I wish you much success.

Hi,
I am also doing the diet without the diet suppressants. I started last Friday, and I took one the first day because I was afraid of feeling terribly hungry, but from the 2nd day on, I didn't take them at all, and it hasn't been a problem. Like the previous blogger said, the fat burners help, and also drinking some chicken broth (low sodium Swanson) if I feel a little hungry.

You can do it!! When you feel weak, think about how much healthier you'll be with less weight!

Good luck,
Claudia

To Claudiaalr and JRoota

Does your replies mean you don't take the pills or the shots, just the fat burners? I would like to contact you with further questions as I need to start on my own soon w/o paying the $70 each week.
