Protein Shakes
I bought the Medi Shake and it is horrible. Does anyone know of a Brand of Shakes that takes pretty good with the same supplement facts and where I can buy them?
I just started on Saturday with my huband and we need all the help we can get. Also can we have the Laughing Cow cheese in the first week? Thanks |

Let me give you a few hints on how to improve the taste. Add any flavor of crystal light. I like orange because it taste like a orangesicle. You could also use half a pack of sugar free jello. In the chocolate, I use hazelnut flavoring. You can only use one of these a day though. It is really good. You have to experiment and find what you like that taste right. I add ice, and you can add fruit after week one. I do not use the shakes daily. I use them 3 or 4 days a week ususally for breakfast. Good luck! Happy weight lose! |

Check out the newbie thread it is covered there. http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/me...-week-1-a.html McBoo |
I went to costco on Thursday to buy the EAS advantage pre made shakes, they just have the bag that then you have to mix and make your own shakes. I was trying to find something more convenient.
Instead, I found the premier nutrition pre-made shake, with 2 grams of net carbs, 3 grams of fat, 30 grams of protein (which is great!) and 160 calories. I do not mind the 50extra calories thann the EAS advantage (these are 110 calories and I tried them before but they are not that creamy and leave a weird after taste), but I like the 13 extra grams of protein. I tasted the premier nutrition shakes and they are great! very creamy and rich, no after taste ... |
I don't know if you guys have a Publix in your area but they have the 4 pack of Pre made EAS Advantage Carb Control shakes on sale for 2 packs for $10.00.
