Shocked, Speechles and Excited

If it's possible to feel all of these emotions at the same time, sign me up. I had my first official weigh-in at the clinic yesterday:

10 lbs. down, 8 lbs. of that was fat!

I admit though that what started out as a VERY enthusiastic day ended up with a sad and gloomy week. I don't know if it was the low calories, carb withdrawal, the GRAY WEATHER, PMS, the time change, or my turning older (lol) that made me feel so cranky and sad. The medical assistant and nurse practitioner said this feeling was normal. I dared to even call it "depression" because I cried every single day for a whole week and just didn't feel like myself at all. They confirmed that yes, that was normal.

So onto week two, where I get to incorporate vegetables into my daily plan and snacks three times a week. I didn't purchase the bars nor the shake mixes at this time, but maybe will do so in the future.

Anyway, that's my report for the day. Onto week 2 (with renewed confidence).

Wow Barb, congratulations! I will have my first weigh-in next Tuesday and I am really looking forward too ....
Today is my 3rd day and I fell great. At night, when my husband goes to bed and I stay watching TV is when I have all those bad craving, it is beacuse I am bored, not because I am hungry ... So far, I did not fall with my diet ... which is great. Chewing sugar free gum had helped me at that time.
Today I am going to get my injection only .... I will see how I fell through the weekend, which will be challenge number 2 ....
I have all my husband support, we do not have kids, so I do not see why not I can stick on my diet ...

Barb, Are you exercising? I am just walking, as usual, with my 2 big dogs ...

Congratulations! Doesn't the weight loss make the suffering from week 1 so worth while? Now you need to update your profile to reflect your new weight. Don't forget to check out Medi Weight Loss Recipes so that you keep the food interesting and not boring. I think that is the secret to this plan. Keep up the good work.
