Lorieloo,

The first week is really hard, but when you see that first week weight loss you will realize it is all worth it. It is easy sailing after the first week. Did you look at the tips on Welcome Newbies! Helpful info for week 1. They are a culmination of everyones tips that were on the board. The broth and the protein drink really help stabilize hunger and blood sugar. Hang in there. You can do this!

Hey there....I am on day 5 of my first week, so close to day 6! I can say that the first 2 days were pretty rough for me, I had a headache for those days, but by day 3 and def into day 4 I felt SO MUCH BETTER!

I am sticking to the plan, getting all of my water, getting the exercise....I even had someone who is a good friend/co-worker who hasn't seen me in almost 2 weeks tell me that I looked smaller. Oh and she had no idea I was doing this...I told her about it after she asked. SUCH a great feeling.

So the blah, strange feeling will pass like everyone else says...the newbie thread helped me A TON! :-) Good Luck!

I didn't feel the cranky-ness (but possibly because I started the program already very cranky & depressed, I'm thinking maybe the shots helped with my mood) BUT I did experience the headaches. I was told taking motrin was ok (or whatever your aspirin of choice is) and a lot of people on this site suggested College Inn Chicken Broth....It really helped!!!!

I'm on my 2nd week and so far very happy with the program. For me, this site helps A LOT! The people on here are extremely helpful (more than the clinic I am going to). They have great tips, advice, recipes/ideas, words of encouragement & motivation.

Good Luck & Hang in there....you will be happy you did!
