Medi question for women

Hey, this may be too much info so if you don't want to read something like that dont go any farther lol. Well Ive been doing medi for about a month and Ive lost 17 pounds (yay). Im on yaz birth control and lately the 2 monthly times that I have had have started about 10 days before I even had the placebo pill and have been very harsh, more cramping, more bloating and more everything! Im going to call my gyn, but wanted to know if this had happened to anyone, or if they heard about it and if they know or suspect the cause?? again sorry about the personal info!

I have heard and experienced the opposite mine is shorter and less cramping with the regular use of the b6/b1 injection.

Same here, Mine are shorter, less pain and pms symptoms since taking the shots. You need to see your gyn soon.

I would say talk to both the clinic doc and your gyn.

The b1/b6 shots also help with women on bc/homone replacement (according to the literature I have read).

I am on jollesa (3 mo cycle) - I got the extra b1/b6 shot the week before, another during and another after just to cover my bases.

I did notice a spotted a few days before my normal start date but that was the only strange thing.

Everyone is different though - so talk to your docs

I posted this issue earlier in the Feb. thread. I talked to the counselors at my clinc and got 2 WAY different answers. One (a male) said see my OB/GYN immediately, the other (a female) said wait about 3 months and see what happens. I panicked slightly b/c I had my period almost every day during the first month. When I called back to the clinic a visiting counselor who works at an office that is run by an OB/GYN said as long as I was stopping for some days and then starting back up it was safe to wait and see what happened because it is normal with the drastic change in eating habits to throw off your cycle and they see it all the time. I did make an appointment with my OB/GYN anyway just to be safe (since I couldn't talk to the doctor at my clinic that week as she was out of town), and the OB/GYN said the same thing. However, she did switch my birth control to something slightly stronger. Crossing my fingers here, but since then my period seems to have gone on vacation again to work more like normal except a little breakthrough early am and late pm. My OB/GYN did say it could take up to three months to stabilize. If it got worse come back and if it didn't stabilize in 3 months come back, because then it might be something else. Hope this helps.

By the way I don't take Yaz. I was taking Mircette and now she moved me to Lo-Ovral.
