Hi grfxgrl, how is it going today? I had a tough 3rd day at the beginning, feeling kind of quesy from drinking all the water. I was also very tired. I stopped taking the AS as I was not able to sleep very well the last two nites. but I made it thru another day. oh, get this, my nephew fixed brownies today for the family, the house smelled so good! Imagine walking into the house to the smell of brownies.... I was so mad

Hi Baysidegal and grfxlgrl! Today was interesting, I was not in ketosis, but still dehyraded. So I called the clinic to ask what I needed to do. They just told me to stop drinking bottled water and to drink crystal light hydration, smart water, propel 0 or some broth.. So I tried that. I tested again late in the day, and still no change. I have drank 112oz of all those drinks so far... i dont know what else to do. All the protein is not bothering me, YET, but I have to find some quick new receipes fast, or it will.
I am proud of myself this week in the fact that my family has not been as supportive by making brownies for their dessert (hubby and nephew) twice this week. the house smelled so good. But I didnt go for it.!! He did apologize.. |

You think that you did everything by the book but sometimes even more exercise or a little "over" of allowed carbs, could throw you out. Make sure your ketosix strips are good (sometimes they go bad if they are kept in the humid area). To get back to ketosis: 3-4 days of exact week 1 will help.

I just finished my first week and this is my fist post. I had my weigh-in this morning: 8.5 pounds lost (5 lbs. fat, 3.5 lbs water). Also, lost 1" in my waist. This program is AWESOME!

First week
