Alcohol and trying to maintain

I have lost 90lbs with a combination of low carb diets. I am now trying to maintain but I am having a hard time stabilizing. I am mostly low carb Mon-Fri but on the weekends I do eat out and drink alcohol. Any suggestions on maintaining and still drinking alcohol?

Did you eat out & drink alcohol on the weekends during your 90 lb loss? How long have you been doing this on the weekends & has it caused any regain yet? I know that I have trouble getting back to low carb come Monday if I eat too many carbs on weekends. I do not drink alcohol, so I cannot answer that, but moderation would be the key & research the carb count in your food & drinks before you go out. It is possible to indulge if you choose wisely.

I have to stay away from beer. I did best with dry red wines, now when I drink it's rum and diet. Try to stay away from the sugary/carby drinks. And it's easiest to eat "off" during one period of the weekend.....never the whole weekend through....
The day I eat more carbs...I try to IF the rest of the day if possible or just have a low carb shake in the afternoon....

WOE: Whatever plan keeps me around 150 lbs!
I'm not low carb, but I drink regularly (and not just the weekends ). I just fit it into my calorie allotment and have no problems. I would imagine you could do that with your carb allotment, too. When I was low carb, I just stuck to whiskey and soda or rum and diet coke.

I drink red wine on the weekends and eat more carbs, but am very strict Mon-Thurs...but I do run into trouble sometimes...been maintaining for 5 years.
