Hey gang,

Looks like I'll start it off for today. Sunny out now, and the temps look a bit warmer...do I hear the cooling kicking in out at the gh?

Pam, ouch for Polly! Poor baby, she's gonna be sore for a while. She's in wonderful hands now, and know she'll do just fine. Give her a snuggle and kiss for me!

Shawnee, any sunshine yet for you? We've got plenty so far today, so come on and enjoy with us! Tyke got her first starling for the year yesterday, but only a catch-and-release. She took it outside (it was in the dog's room, stupid messy thing) and I told her to drop it...it flew away IN THE OTHER DIRECTION. I don't mind her getting them, but they are so nasty that I don't want her to EAT them! The last couple years she's averaged about 15.

Linda, what to do--what to do? If it's only a couple days a week, would it be worth it? Sounds like the $$ is good, and that will give you something extra for the retail therapy. You've done your time, now do what you WANT to do!

Loretta, planting already? I reckon all the really cold stuff is behind us, so just keep the old sheets handy in case of a little frost! Still considering maybe a tomato plant or 2, fresh 'maters are so good! Congrats on the first fish of the year...will you eat them now or save for a fish fry?

Zip, the right house will be there at the right time. I'd love to see you in a house instead of apartment with some space to play...not to mention the work you can do outside will help with the sunshine quota! It will be fun to do virtual yard work with you when you do get a yard!

Shelly, what's going on in your busy world?

Susan, hoping you're having a BLAST and enjoying some warm sunnies!

Off to lurk for a bit,

Surprised to see that post from Shawnee this morning. Now I don’t know where to put this. I guess I will put it in both places. I have been typing this in my Word program and then posting it. It works well and I can save it if I need more time to finish writing. When I copy and post it, it seems to work better too and is a lot quicker also. So nice not to lose it either.

I have been busy baking those Blueberry Bars this morning and I have a problem to want to keep tasting them. I think I will use them for an occasional breakfast meal.

Ginny the only planting I have done is the spinach and it is a cold weather veggie and will be fine. I am going to plant the tomatoes later toward the end of April this year. I know the weather can be a fooler, nice one-day and then bang a frost. Nice weather here again. Dh will go fishing soon, but I had rather stay home and do some outside chores. I would hate to be sitting there fishing and not catching any and thinking about the nice stuff I could be outside doing. The grass is calling for weed and feed.

Zip thanks for that reminder about saving the address book and favorites. I do that occasionally when I remember. It is a good idea. Hope all is well there in NJ and your nice weather continues. Let the HOUSE HUNTING BEGIN.

Susan good to hear from you this morning. Glad you are going to relax with a good book. Too bad there is not an easy way to make the transition to Fla living. $$$ Is usually a determining factor. Your husband sure knows how to be a welcome and useful guest and finding his pleasure helping others too. WTG for the both of you.

Well Linda have you made a decision about that job yet? Do you have to do continuing education also and have a license to keep up. Our nursing license was really getting high. They even wanted $75 to be an Inactive Status Nurse. I guess I am still living in a time where things cost less. I need to update. But here where we live the nurses did not make that much, they might and do in other states I know.

Pam hope Polly is recuperating nicely. Poor pup. I wonder what a regular dentist would charge to extract 20 teeth? You are a great caregiver there.

Hi to Shelly and our other lurkers today.

Out the door to fertilize and kill weeds.

Later guys

Loretta
