Lowcarbfriends needs your help!!

We had pruned the success story board because there were some threads missing photos or some threads were not really success stories.. We didn't remove very many however...

We always have a good amount of members that look at the success stories board but there are not very many threads..

Do you have a success story?? It would be really great and very helpful if you can post your Lowcarb success story!! It will be a great inspiration for other members and will help motivate them by seeing how well you have and are doing!!

Please PLEASE post your success story.. If you already have and it is an older post maybe do another one with an update!!

I am one of the people who is afraid to claim success....what defines success...? Ive been here for years...I originally lost 100 lbs...up to 110....but Ive gained up to 29....my margin is less recently..but my consistency isnt anything Im proud of...

I gained 16 lbs this go around..I caught myself early..

Hey.. You lost 100 pounds originally.. that IS success!!! You should be very proud.. A lot of people put some weight back on and have to work to get it off.. I never believe there is such a thing as "goal" because we always have to work at our weight and it never settles on a certain number forever.. some go up and down 5 pounds.. some more.. Some gain it all back and then some and then start over but the thing is.. They were successful!!! So yes hun.. You are very successful.. in that you took off 100 pounds and because you caught the carb creep early so can get what little you gained back off before you gain even more back.. so that is very successful.. I am so happy for you!! I bet your story would be motivational and it would show people to watch for their weight to creep back up and catch it as soon as possible so you don't have to take as much off if you start gaining again.. Your story would be a very learning experience.. you are a success!!

Cheri....your reply stunned me...maybe I can claim success...I need to think about this..

Today I fit in some 4s ( a buncha ones at Nordstoms and a few that were available at TJMaxx)... all my 6's fit..even my small 6's.Im 5'9" and 57yo..post menopausal...my sm tops fit...my bra sz is 32D..the lowest Ive ever fit...( the D part is the menopausal thing...i was B before).Ive committed to weighing weekly.....and for the first time in a long time I see myself as truly small..

Awww see?? You have done so well and I wish you will decide to post hun.. I know what you mean about seeing yourself as small.. I have lost a lot of weight and I have trouble seeing the smaller girl in the mirror.. or if I do and I take a photo I see a heavier girl.. I recently had my photos taken when we had my sons senior photos taken.. I think I will be happy with one of those (hopefully) and then I will go post my story also.. I do have one here but not on that board so I need to move a copy there.. I just want to add a new updated photo.

Hope to see yours there soon!!
