SUNDAY, March 16th

Good Sunday Morning to All,

Today is living up to it's name! Yep, we have SUNshine blue skies and warmer temperatures! Going up to plus 10 Celsius today! I'll bet some Canadians will be in T shirts today! after such a long hard winter, relatively speaking.

When I took Oliver into the Vet last week, an older couple were in the waiting room with their German Shepherd puppy. The man was talking about the weather and he said the winter of '47 was a wicked one, snow banks up to the garages and such a cold blowing wind. He must have been in his 80's, such a nice couple. His wife went on to say they have had 4 German Shepherds, but this one wont let them cut her nails, so they bring her in everytime. How wonderful to hear their stories!

I survived the Indian meal last night, lots of doggie bags to bring home. DH loves the stuff, so does DSIL but DH has the bag in the fridge.......after all HE was paying for the meal!!

Loretta and Linda, thanks for the info on the Fish oil capsules. What is the correct dosage? This bottle says 1000mg but not dosage! I took 1000mg 1 capsule yesterday.
I have some notes scribbled on post-it notes, dont know where I got this info! It says Fish Oil for increasing HDLs, Exercising increases HDL2, Red Wine increases HDL3 (not as crucial) Low TG increases fluffy LDL's.

I found another tidbit of info, which was of interest to me, was the fact that Cholesterol is critical in maintaining a stable mood! Without enough cholesterol in the blood, animals and humans become depressed. The Brain contains a lot of it. As I say these notes are all scribbled on post it notes, wish I had more info.

I saw a bottle yesterday that said Omega 3-6-9. I take Vit A, Vit E, Lethicin and now Salmon Oil.....DO I HAVE ALL THE BASES COVERED?

Have a great SUN DAY!

Hi Susan and everybody...We've got 63°F (17C). Just got back from a delightful but tiring 4 mile walk...talking all the way about relocating. Sister saw the house today and said it was a steal. There are SOOO many ramifications!

If I fall below the radar for a couple days, it's because the 'puter is headed for another REFORMAT. The SPOOL error which requires a cold shudown (power swich off) has compounded with MS WORD not able to open anything. That is a REAL problem because that's what we use for editing reviews.
Trying to think about pulling up stakes and making money work and reformatting the computer without losing everything is making me NUTSY. I'm on overload today.

I should spring the $100 for Win XP Upgrade but I won't give Gates the satisfaction. Who knows if it would be any less buggy that Win ME.

Loretta,
I didn't do the pantethine, only the lecithin. The pantethine was too pricey and I wasn't sure about the much cheaper pantothenic acid doing the same job.

Hi Susan and Roger,
Where is everyone today?

Gosh Roger, you do have a lot to think about with the house and computer. Would you enjoy living there and not so close to the city?
Damned computers, eh? You are getting to be an expert at reformatting so it shouldn't be too bad. Wishing you the best.

Ginny, we are all looking forward to the pictures.

Susan, I take two of the Omega3 caps, three times a day.

It was beautifull here today too and got into the mid 60's. Let's hope mother nature isn't just teasing us.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LORETTA, hope you enjoyed your special day.

Shawnee, you must be painting . How's it coming?

Pam and Shelly, what's up with you two.

I have just been sitting around here licking my wounds this evening. We know it was the best for the ol cat but it still hurts like hell. Thanks for all your thoughts and warm wishes.
Linda

Hi

Have been enjoying the day with the DS and grandbrats. DS grilled out but we ate inside. It was a beautiful day warm and sunny.

Zip when will you get time to go and look at the house? That reformat will take a while too. Just one thing after another.

Susan you are on the right track with the fish oil. I take 2 caps 3x a day of the 1000mg.

Linda I am sorry about Inky. It takes time to heal the loss. It was not an easy decision for you either.

Hi to Shawnee, Ginny, Pam and Shelly

I am sleepy because of my food sins of the day and am heading for the pillow.

Hi, Y'all

Rainy, semi-non-rain too.........almost glad there was no sun to waste, as I was yielding that paintbrush inside. Painting the insides and undersides of cabinets requires contourtionist (?) activites, which leaves me feeling mangled..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Loretta.....sounds like it was a good one with Family

Montana, you go right ahead and express that grief; we expect no less from the loss of a loved one, and know it takes the kindest act of all to let them go.

ZIP, isn't it really bugging you, to SEE that house?!? Good luck with a speedy puter fix.

Susan, you are getting fixed up inside and out; skinny and healthy too!

Hi to Ginny, Tink, Shelly and Dragon...
