117.6. Very low for me. I have been sick but better now. Regretfully my appetite is better so I expect to gain back the few pounds I lost.

Debby, sorry you were sick too.

I don't think losing while sick sticks so seeing anything 118 or under wont last for me. Not with my appetite back. Plus I haven't been running. Hope to start back tomorrow.

One pound at a time Peretroika, you have started on your way.

116, yikes, not a happy camper here.

Lots of sickness happening here also. Had a severe head cold but on the mend. It did not curb my appetite.

116 sounds good to me!!

It is weird. When I was young 112 seemed fat to me. Now I would be happy to stay the 117 I am!!!

Thanks Debbie,
I'm feeling good now. How are you? Sure noticed the deterioration of "strength" though... when I started doing my strength training afterwards.

I ran a race today and was slow. Came through the finish and almost passed out. Guess I am really not 100% yet.

Wow Loretta, that was a big drop in one week.

I was 125 this morning after only one Down Day this week. Very encouraging.

Managed to gain three pounds and not eating much different. Guess my weight loss during the flu was temporary.

120.4 which is more my norm.

Hello fellow maintainers!

Happy Easter long-week-end!

Weighed 126 again.

I've been trying more carbs (fruit), but discovered they make me hungry. I guess I don't really "need" fruit, just enjoy apples & blueberries as a snack. Have any of you been able to work this fruit thing out?

I am no help sorry Debby, as I don't do Low Carb any longer.

I do remember, years ago, reading Atkins where he said fruit can be the hardest rung on his ladder.

Thanks Cindy,
I wasn't really on Atkins. A lower-carb body-builders diet rotation diet... but it did get rid of fruit. How much fruit are you able to eat? It doesn't trigger a "hunger" response in you?

Also, wondering for those of you that count calories, how many do you maintain on? Might include your height... for a reference...

I eat between 1300-1600 calories a day. 5'4" tall

I always go with the lowest for the week... 126

This week I've been doing taxes & dh working late... so I've found that I'm hungry in the afternoons again... (like the old days). So decided to do EFGT to get back into ketosis & get rid of hunger & water retention. (I always seem to be retaining water). Adding salt into my diet at this time, since I'll be losing water weight at same time. My Dr says it will help & I've been too afraid of it, so big experiment going on.

Have a good week!

114 this week and I think that is more in line now. My big loss of 6 lbs last week must have been a fluke.

Now at 115. I will watch the line a little closer I don't want to continue at this rate.

Where are you all?

Hi,
Stayed same...couple lbs. up & down during the week; experimented with EFGT and added salt to my diet. Now I'm alternating between my old diet & that, to keep regular. Its going well, enjoying eating lots of fat!
Hope you have a good week too!

Loretta, I bet you are looking great.

117.8

Saw my doctor last week and had bloodwork. My HgA1C was slightly elevated last August. Now it .4 higher so was told to cut out sugars and reduce carbs. For the last few days I have been eating very cleanly but still eating carbs like brown rice, sweet potatoes, strawberries and gluten free bread. My weight is over 3 pounds less then when I was the doctors. I honestly don't think I eat a lot of junky carbs but I have cut out some things. If my numbers get another .4 higher I will be prediabetic. I have had normal fasting blood sugars. I am fit and run. I am not really overweight and have normal BMI.
