Wow ... that was a fast 5 pounds gained
Well maybe not real fast but the past 3-4 weeks I have been traveling heavily overseas (Singapore, Amsterdam, Tokyo ... that sort of thing). And I finally got a chance to weigh myself on my own scale. Sure enough, up 5 pounds in just a few weeks.
![]() I suspected something was up as my normal problem of severe leg cramps most nights went away.I suspect somewhere along the way I dropped too far out of ketosis. Meat centric eating is just not easy overseas where most meals are based on rice, potatoes and other starches. ![]() Time to dust myself off and spend the next couple of weeks back into VLC land to get this back under control. Fortunately I will be in town for a couple of weeks before I make another swing overseas. Let's see ... where is my emergency stash of bacon! ![]() |

Al,
The important thing is that you are on top of the situation! You're still within your 5 lb range and are back with a plan The good thing is, it's probably mostly water weight. I'm doing the same... weight creeped up because I was allowing myself to have some SF chocolate or a slice of gluten free bread here and there.... all of a sudden it was happening daily... the scale reflected it. I've went back to whole foods and smaller portions and I'm at 99.4 today. |
