Happy morning.
Yesterday I had baked salmon w/ broccoli, melted cheese, tomatoes from garden, flax biscuit. Snacks were the usual.
Weight is 107, not fluctuating. Received unsettling lab results yesterday. However blood pressure is now normal w/o meds, after 1 &1/2 years of low carbing. I do check it every day.

Hi Ladies.

I'm still here just on day three of a egg fast. I have been working out and putting on muscle just losing some extra fat. I will follow with a meat and egg fast or feast Tomorrow. I feel I need to kill cravings, this is what works for me.

Hope all are well!

PIKNIK, those squeaky clean food days are great. I agree, eating to keep the carb cravings away is super.

I find not eating too much hwc and only having the occasional, tiny bits of roots keeps those carb cravings away. Otherwise it is meats, butter, herbs, and a few leaves for me.

I wish you happy egging.

Thanks Em

Took me a while to figure out that meat, eggs, butter, and herbs occasional berries, nuts, little cheese some greens, is what works best for me too. No energy lulls or mood swings or cravings. Just basic, simple and clean.

PIKNIK, it's great, isn't it? My plan is similar, just sans berries and nuts. I have to keep the hwc intake low, and only have cheese occasionally.

I have found that eating offal for breakfast really helps me, too. I take CLO first thing in the morning, too. I so like feeling well and sleek.

Thanks for asking Auntie Em, I am doing OK. Checked sugar last nite 1 hour after eating dinner & it was 100. I had a sugar spike which showed up on labs as well as an extreme jump in cholesterol & Dr wants to see me! I dont want to see him! I believe jump in cholesterol is due to coconut oil over consumption & possibly hwc.

Dinner was salad & onion & pepper quiche w/ roasted gr beans. BS loved this I guess! Yesterday was a haphazard day w/ breakfast on the run & a few yogurt snacks. Up 1 lb this AM. I am still celebrating BS, dont mind the lb so much.

Its l/c friendly roast... is cooked in a dutch oven w/ tomatos, beer, onion , garlic and cinnamon..the cinnamon was a little bump in taste..next day i used the beef in a salad..perfect.. I am not sure if Ill repeat it..

I love cooking...and exploring l/c recipes....many recipes on regular sites work.. with minor tweeks...next week chipotle beef (2-3 meals) , asian lettuce wraps and blueberry lemon yogurt chicken salad.. many of the recipes make 2 or more meals...which works for us.. grilling fills in the rest of our meals

Hi folks.
Dinner was mahi mahi cooked in the little toaster/oven combo. It tastes so much better than cooked in regular oven or a pan. Also salad w/ garden tomatoes, squash also roasted in toaster oven. For dessert it was leftover quiche. Snacked on yogurt as usual.

Havent missed a day of exercise in a long time, but havent done yoga. Things are too hectic. Have to figure out what to make out of ground beef tonite.

Deborah, thanks for the pot roast description. That sounds familiar.

B: grass-fed beef burger and more black tea. Also, sun tea made with lemon thyme.
L: roast beef and chives, more tea. Small cup of hwc.
S: Perhaps beef bacon, chicken livers and herbs. Bit of hwc.

Hot dogs on the Fourth, way too tired for anything else after a long drive the day before. The road food for the drive was homemade granola bars w/ peanut butter & a few microwaved deluxe cheese slices.

Yesterday was the monthly high carb day w/ Chinese food which Mom loves. My BS was remarkably good afterwards.
