Bananas
Since they rate lower on the glycemic scales, does anybody here eat them, or incorporate them in their low-carb diets?

It's strange, I know. I have always avoided them on low carb, but I would love some in my low carb yogurt. If they do claim to be lower on the glycemic scale. I would be quite happy.

As a runner, I have a banana when I run 10 or more miles.

I eat half a banana on very intermittent occasions. Perhaps I could handle a whole, but I haven't tried. My dog likes them so I can share them with her!

I wonder if because to me they seem "starchy" that I thought they were high on the GI/GL scale? |

while i've made smoothies without them, i really love the addition of bananas. it does so much to the consistency and flavor, even just a little. lately, i've been adding just 15-30 grams (about 1/4 to 1/3 of a banana i guess)
i do have half a banana or so occasionally as a snack too it is better than a cookie or chips i believe |

Let me just say in passing, Banana DaVinci's syrup rocks. I eat bananas quite rarely, but can have the flavor whenever I want. I really like bananas over cottage cheese or sour cream, so I just mix a little syrup in instead and add cinnamon; tastes very indulgent.

I eat a banana once in a while (maybe 2 times a month). I love them and eat them with some organic, natural PB on them....what a treat!
