Advice,,,,,

Hello everybody. It's spring, can't wait for the fruits and fresh vegies.

Anyway, i just found out that i was pregnantbut am sure i don't have to stop doing low carb,,,,,,,,not after reaching and trying to maintain goal weight.

I know for me bread is still a no no,,,,,,,it's not good for me. What else should would you advice me to try avoid.

I wish to keep my carbs at my maintainance level~-50 to 75,,,,,sometimes jumping up to 100 thats if workout.

Thanx

Congrats to you! That's wonderful news!! I wish I could make suggestions about your diet, but, I don't have the knowledge. Maybe, post on the main board and see what kind of feedback you get. Of course, speak to your doctor and make sure that there aren't any problems with following a modifed low carb diet during your pregnancy.

Once again, Congratulations!! Is this your first?

Congratulations Budi!!! When is the blessed event?

Just stick with your lc foods as your doctor allows. Be sure to take your prenatal vitamins and get some exercise in. You will do just fine.

congrats. Dr Atkins has a staffer that wrote about being preggo and doing Atkins maintnenance. she was a dietician and her foods looked like the rungs of OWL with legumes fruits veggies nuts dairy berries and some whole grains in there too. ANA removed her posts but you might find it in the wayback machine it was before 2005 but after 2003 if that helps.

some folk wrongly think ketones are bad ofr developing babies but actually ketones are the building blocks for neonatal brain tissue.

hope you have a very successful pregnancy and come tell us all about it.
