I'm new here! Hope this is the right place...
Hi everyone! I'm new to the site and I was wondering if I could get some advice.
About 2 years ago after the birth of my second child I am 5'4" and was pushing 200 lbs. I went on Atkins and quickly lost weight (10 lbs. in the 1st 2 weeks). I added in walking everyday with my kids and very quickly got down to about 130lbs (size 4 wooo hoo!!). Anyway after a while I got "comfortable" and slowly started adding the carbs back in, and I wasn't gaining any weight back. Then I got tooo comfortable and over the holidays I ate whatever the heck I wanted. Needless to say, I've gained weight back (now up to 160) and I went back on atkins for the past 5 weeks with verrrry slow results. I've only lost about 7 lbs in 5 weeks. I'm slowly adding exercise back in, but the weather has not been cooperating and I don't have a gym membership or treadmill. Can I get any advice on getting back into it? I'm starting to get discouraged, but I really am motivated to lose weight!! I need to get back into my skinny jeans! HELP!!!! ![]() ![]() |

Hello:
I see that this is your first post. Welcome to LCF. I don't have any advice for you, but I think you'd get a wide variety of responses if you posted this in the Main Lobby area. I wish you success in reaching your weight loss goal and in getting back into your skinny jeans. |

Congratulations on reaching your goal! Now its about how to keep your weight off
through healthy eathing. My experience is that you can't go back to the old way of eating, EVER, and expect to keep your weight off. Some people eat "whatever" on weekends and then diet the gain back off but personally I believe in creating a healthy eating plan which you can do long term. How much more weight do you need to lose to get back to goal? Bella |
