Happy New Year Maintainers!

Happy New Year Maintainers!

I just realized this is the FIRST time in 22 years that weightloss (dieting) is NOT a New Years Resolution. I don't even feel the NEED to make resolution to maintain the LC WOE/WOL...it just IS the way I choose to eat/live now. It truly is wonderful way to live.

I look forward to maintaining this WOL with you all.

I am inducting for a few days, but I am looking forward to it!

Like you I love this way of eating.

Happy new year to everyone too! I think I maintained quite well over a holiday visit to my parents (and exercised almost every day too) -- I can't tell perfectly until I get home to my own scale (theirs is compressed and hard to read!). There may be a pound or two to lose. I'll be very happy to be home where I only have legal food and don't have to keep endlessly turning down temptations!

Happy New Year Everyone!!!!

WOW... I'm glad that the holidays are over!!!!

Excercise has been on track and eating has been pretty good but I'm looking forward to a back to basics week of eating. I need to evaluate WHAT I want my goal weight to be yet again and I'm ready to work on that...

Other than that all is well - and YES I love that I don't HAVE to resolve to lose weight!

However... I am SO looking forward to getting back to basics, I have allowed a few good homemade LC indulgences for the past month or so and I'm tired of them and the feeling that I just want a bite of sweet after dinner.

I'm more than happy to have been able to add my plain yogurt back in (with the help of Digestive Advantage Lactose Intolerance) - no bloat and I am eating my favorite food again with NO ill effects!!!

Happy New Year!! I lost about 30 pounds on Atkins a few years ago. I've been battling to maintain my current weight for about a year(w/low fat eating). After gaining 9 pounds, I got back on Atkins. Thank goodness, I'm in control again!!! The 9 pounds have come off over the last month and now I'm trying to figure out what my forever weight should be.

I wish I could say that I ended the year with a bang but I didn't. I made it through Thanksgiving and Christmas and then gave in to temptation. Fortunately 1/1 is a powerful day for restarting. It's been an induction friendly day. I'll do if for a couple days and work my way up. I need to control the hunger and bet my head back in the right mindset. It was so easy to slip out of it’s scary.

Texoma, 5 lbs is nothing, you are not to beat yourself up. The doctor is very strict about that, you are here and you are committed, you are succeeding!
