Farewell

Hey Gang!

I'm choosing to stop posting here.
Unfortunately, it has become a rather unhealthy place for me.

I hope you'll all understand.

I'm at a place where I can accept a woe that's higher in healthy fats and carbs.

Thankfully, I'm getting farther and farther away from the Kimkins mindest, which only brought me troubles and struggles.

I will go on eating LC and maintain my goal weight.

I do thank all of you for the wonderful support you've provided me with.

Any of you who'd like to, please feel free to PM me.

I wish you all the very best of health and happiness!!!

See you around the main lobby!

Oh Rebecca, Im so sorry to hear this!

I just want to say that I know some of the feedback I have given wasn't what
you wanted to hear, but you did ask for a kick in the pants yesterday....

The only thing Id like to share that in my experience we will defend our
addictions with fervor, myself included! So your leaving the maintenance
forum seems to me to be related to hearing feedback you don't want
and which threatens your food patterns.

I do hope you figure out what you need. Truly I do.

best wishes,
Bella

Good Luck,

I'll miss your posts, but I understand. But as the months pass, and your wondering about new recipes, or the latest Fawn shake or whatever, I hope you still feel free to come back and post!

My leaving the maintenance forum has nothing to do with advice I'd been given here.
I knew that posting my issues would bring forward responses from all, and I welcomed everyone's helpful recommendations.

Oh, it won't be hard to find me, Dogsrule.
I'll not stop posting in the main lobby or in the recipe help & suggestions forum!

Dang, Rebecca. I enjoyed your posts. Guess I will wander over to the main lobby and search you out.

All the best to you and your continued success in this woe. Ditch the peanut butter.

Good Bye Rebecca- I totally understand. I have thought about doing the same, for which this board sometimes focuses too much on food on what we are eating and I just want to get on with my life now and stop obsessing over the whole thing....I know what I need to do, just do it.

Rebecca---You may never really know how much you helped me with my binge eating. I just want to atleast say, "Thank you!". I will also miss your wise and encouraging words in the maintenance forum, but I can totally understand your need to give the forum "a rest". I look forward to "seeing" you in other forums.

Exactly!! That's why I no longer post much on this entire site.

Rebecca - I hope not posting here helps you with your maintenance journey. We all have to figure out what's best for us.

Personally, I'm a bit food obsessed all the time, and posting about it here helps keep me from boring the heck out of my DH and other people IRL It doesn't make me more obsessed or make me want to eat more or less.

I respect your decision, Rebecca, but I also hope the maintain lane stays active. It really helps me to talk to others who are struggling with the challenges of maintenance. I spend time on the ML too, but maintenance issues can be very different from weight loss issues, so even though I don't get to post as often as I'd like, I really enjoy these threads.

Good luck Rebecca!
