119 and happy with it. I still want to get to 117 and maintain there. I am not going to get in a hurry though. It seems like I lose a few pounds and stay there for weeks and then lose 1 or so and maintain pretty closely to that. So I will take it! Have a great Sunday everyone!

128.4 today which is actually a few pounds below goal, so I'm happy - means I can eat lots over the weekend - all legal stuff of course - well, apart from the odd glass of wine!

I hit my goal 8 days ago, and appear to have maintained it this week. So I thought I'd drop in here. Is there I special jacket I have to now wear or a secret handshake I should be made aware of?

That said, now that I am here, my goals have shifted. 172 was number I picked 18 months ago. Today, I'm wondering if I should go a bit further. Either way, I don't see myself going to Induction levels again to get there, so I expect it could, if it indeed happens, take a couple of years to drop say another 20. We'll see. I would much rather keep or maybe increase my muscle mass a bit more before old man time takes that option away.

Finally, a big thank you to all those that have reached their goal and held on to it. The odds of doing that are pretty long, but you guys are showing it can be done. Bravo!

WildHaggis-- invite your new challenge. It is to embrace the normalcy of maintenance. It took me SO long to wrap my brain around how to do that. Being healthy is something I don't really think too much about. I just do it. I eat foods I like, I have variety. Adopt a life style that is as healthy as you can have it but that gives you enough wiggle room so that you're not obsessive about food. When you find this, you've really truly reached emotional and physical maintenance.

I think I'll always have to keep an eye on things, but things have become second nature to me. I can now walk past the Rolo Ice Cream without my heart racing. But still catch myself looking at it.

On a serious note, I credit the food rungs in OWL that prepared me for this.

Congrats WildHaggis on that great amount of weight loss. KUTGW. It will be up and down but just hang in there. Quite a few maintainers give themselves a 3 or 5 pound lee way. It's difficult to stay the same number.

Thanks for the kind words.

I expect to bounce around a little, but hope to trend downwards a bit yet. If anything, to get rid of that extra skin around my midsection. If I do increase the weight, I hope that it's muscle mass, but I'm realistic about that.

Hi! New here, used to post on another AOL Atkins board that bit the dust to stay on track. I tend to fluctuate w/ easily gained water weight at the drop of a hat---not enough water, too much salt, TOM. too high carbs etc. but usually am within 5 pounds of the lower end of my goal range. I focus less now on how much I eat or what, staying clean is almost second nature now (not to say there aren't occasional cheats) but I avoid sugar and wheat for the most part. I'll post my weight Friday to join in.
