Congrats Christina on that great weight loss. You have done a wonderful job.
Maintainence is somewhat difficult in the fact that you sure don't want to get out of control. It is a time of experimenting too and adding some of your favorites back in. Portion control is a big issue. Rebecca I have looked for the Oat Bran pretzels without success. I will try Krogers next week. I did end up buying some WASA multigrain crackers. They are OK. But I sure could taste those pretzels. 122 today, but was celebrating another belated Christmas party this week. We had to cancel it because of ice. Liz, I think I am ready to CHARGE FORTH also.

I am up a little today at 121. I will get it back off as I think it is water weight due to eating out. I always go up a little from restaurant food. I think it is the sodium and/or possibly hidden ingredients. I would like to maintain at 118 or 119. I am a member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) and am at goal which is called KOPS. (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly). When you are in TOPS you have a stated goal. Mine is currently 122 which is given to you by a doctor. Then when you are at goal (KOPS) you are allowed a 10 lb. leeway. You can be 3 lbs. over goal and 7 lbs. under. That is why I would like to maintain around 118-119. Have a great weekend everyone!!

![]() I am at 135..but I am having TOM problems and we cannot get them under control at this time (having it about 20 days out of 30 right now) and I know that is why I am going up and down like a yo-yo now..I am really sick for the past few days with I think a sinus infection and I am really sick at my stomach today. Have a great weekend everyone! HUGS Christina |

119.6 today. I hoped that I'd drop a few pounds of water weight quite quickly when we came back home after Christmas, but that didn't happen. Anyway, I'm down 1 pound over the week, so at least it's going in the right direction, and I'm just sneaking in under 120
. Next step is to be back under 8 1/2 stones (119). |

129.8 today. I'm on Day 2 of trying to go sweet-free, just to see if eating sweet things might be setting off cravings. It's much harder than I expected!

118.2 today, so evidently back on track. Had a morning workout and a nice dinner with steak and veggies last night.
I'd like to be a pound lower, but I don't think it's fair to ask my body to be at its lowest weight when it's -20 out! |

131, that's fine! I have to have a breast biopsy. That's a little scary. I already went through that about 6 years ago on my right breast, now it's my left breast's turn. I'm having difficulty finding a breast surgeon. One doctor actually said that she doesn't take any insurance. Can you believe it-- no insurance, only medicare. I'll have to wait until Tuesday to find a doctor because a lot of doctors are off for the holidays. Anyway, I'll keep you posted.

Prairieprof, I assume that is you and your greyhound - your avatar always makes me smile. We don't currently have one, but have rescued two over the years. They are wonderful animals that's for sure.
My weight sure bounces around a lot from day to day! So I've been trying not to stress about that, and just record it in life form and then consider the average each week. So...for last week: Average: 147.4 High: 148.2 Low: 145.8 My average weight for the last 3 weeks has been 147.2 to 147.4 so I'm quite pleased with that! I'm shifting my workout program from 5 - 6 X per week at Curves to 4X per week at Curves and 2X per week yoga classes, and when my DVD's get here I'm going to add in more yoga at home. I was getting some sort of deep muscle soreness??? (seemed that way - NOT pulled muscles - a totally different feeling). I don't know for sure what is causing it, but I thought MAYBE I was getting too much repetition of the same work. So yoga seemed like a good choice to balance the weight / aerobic work with some flexibility / core type strength work. And meditation. ![]() Feedback????? I also turned up with high blood calcium (not TOO far over the range but still over) so that is being re-tested in a few weeks. If indeed it is related to a parathyroid problem, doc said that might be what is causing the soreness I am feeling..... Congratulations to all on a good week! DG
