Yes, I see them a couple of times a month generally and they will be with us over the Holiday season.
They are coming up to their 2nd anniversary on Sunday and are having a big party. My DD is going to wear her wedding dress but I have to take it in 3 inches for her! |

Me too Homestretch, Im up a bit and I know why: almost daily nutrition bars (1/2) and almond butter. So what else is new! I know I can't eat them and they cause weight gain.....I was at 139 this morning. Im going to put a piece of tape across the almond butter that says "none for a week" and see if that helps!
And Cindy, WTG!!! Bella |

Hi, all, and welcome Dianne and Cindy!!
Up to 136 this week, as it's TOM and holidays for me, and it's too much chocolate and wine... On the other hand, I've been improving on my running, and just payed the fee for the December race. I can run a whole 6.5km now! I'm amazed at how easy it is now, I could never have imagined it. Now if I could do the race in 29 min. that would be super!! Best of luck to you all!!! F. Hi fviegas, I have been MIA on lots of vacations but I am a long timer around here. Thank for the greeting anyway!
Did you do Couch to 5K to start running or have you been doing it all on your own? |

125 today. I am happy as I am losing a little each week. I want to have my final goal somewhere from 115-120. I just need to find my spot. Thanks for the welcomes everyone!
I noticed something recently that I always poo-pooed in my mind. When you are at a smaller weight/near or at goal a small gain makes a huge difference! I used to think it was weird when skinny mini girls would say - Oh no I gained 4 lbs., etc. Now I know what they mean. It does make a huge difference. When you have 110 lbs. to lose 4 lbs. either way doesn't make much difference but when you are near goal it makes a lot of difference! Just my little thought for the day. Another major milestone - I have now lost 110 lbs. Wow! That is more than some of the people weigh on this board! ![]() Just wanted to add congrats on the weight loss Cindy!

Dianne, it I who must congratulate you! Yes it is nice to lose 4 lbs in a week, but 110 pounds is a tremendous achievement. Truly impressive.

Hi, Cindy!
I started with the couch25k programme and had great results with it! This is the first time in my life that I can run and enjoy running. It's become addictive and feels good. Cheers, F. |

Ok, I am jumping right it. My weight on Friday was 126.
I am close to pinning down my maintenance levels I think. ![]() I was about 125, but it is TOM, so the extra is probably due to that. I will stay at the same carb level for another week and see if I stay about the same. |

F, when did you start couch 25K? I started once and got to 25 mins then had foot/shoe problems and never got started again. I remember I did that 25 mins on New Year's Eve 2006 and was so thrilled with myself.
Sorry for Thread Jack.... Great work Ladyathome, this is where the journey really begins. |

Afternoon tea in a tea room sounds lovely!
I've just been talking to my parents, and they reminded me that the clocks change tonight. I'd completely forgotten - usually I find out when I look at the computer in the morning . |

I am 131 today but am doing fine with that.
With us getting ready to move & all & packing, I came across some clothes that I hadn't gotten rid of-clothes that I was sure would be too tight on me as they fit me when I was down to 115 lbs at one time. And my one rule: never have anything in the house that's too tight, doesn't fit me right and doesn't look right on me. I figured these two pairs of pants would be too snug but I thought, 'what the hey?' and tried them on. To my surprise, they fit perfect. I was very delighted! Time and time again, that just proves to me that the scale is not the be all, end all. But I still weigh just to see where I am. Sure, I weigh 1 more lb today than I did a week ago...but if I'm getting into pants that-at one time-fit me when I was 115 lbs-and now fit me at 131 lbs-then I'm very happy and content with that. It shows that my body is starting to change due to my exercising, keeping my fats high and my carbs low. Dysn Last edited by dae_tona; 10-27-2008 at 06:50 AM.. |

No change here - 117.6 this morning. After reading Dr Mike Eades's blog, I'm going to make an effort to get back down to 112 (slowly).

Howdy,
thank goodness it's friday, hey? I'm in a stable 135.5 now. I've had some things off-plan, even after a holiday packed with chocolate and wine, but have lost a bit and maintained due to my running schedule. I've committed my subscription to the december race, along with my kids, for a full family event, and I'm training a bit harder than usual. Although I am up 2 pounds from my low of 133 I can fit perfectly in my skinny jeans as before. I think I gained some muscle from running, my legs look better and my tummy too, so I'm not fretting about the 135. So, have a great weekend everyone, and see you next week. F. |

Okay I thought about NOT posting but... today I was 123.6. I do weigh daily and yesterday I was 122. I know it is water weight. I ate alot more carbs yesterday but, it gets on my nerves. I think I need to "step it up". I have been confined to the house all week. DD is sick so I have been snacking here and there. All legal foods just probably more than I need. I am not happy being over 120. It is starting to consume my thinking. When I went below 120, it was effortless and I stayed there for well over a year. Now I cannot get back... I need to get serious. Happy Halloween!!!
