Thanks for the support gals.

I am already seeing a downturn in the scales, which is always nice, and I feel very much back in charge.

As you say, the vacation was wonderful fun. Off to the south of France in under three weeks however, so sometimes you jut have to say stop! I find France easy though, always have been able to eat LC very happily there.

Cindy, how are you doing??

I weighed in this morning at 139, and I am very happy! I had to finally admit that my maintenance plan wasn't working and that I had added in too many carbs and calories.
So this time I am going to be very careful about what I add in.

Yesterday I met my son for some back to college shopping and I was getting that
I really need to eat something but Im at the mall feeling....so I gave in and had an Atkins
PB bar- I haven't had one or any bars in 4 weeks, and it did do the trick. But, and this is a big but, I woke up at 5am with diarrhea! I am sure it was the bar...my system isn't used to the additives anymore. I am planning on staying away from them except in an emergency and then even then-maybe not!

Bella

Hi Mac, good to see yur here.

Bella I am doing okay though I was up .5 lbs this morning. I find when I am on induction I need to weigh in daily.

10 friends here to lunch today, had a few wines but I am prepared to pay the price. One of our dearest friends is terminally ill and any time we spend together is to be enjoyed to the fullest.

Well today I am 123 which is up from where I want to be but... it is fine. I workout regularly and eat right which is pretty clean. I stick to eggs, veggies, fish and leaner cuts of meat. I do have yogurt daily but always have and I just don't think I can eliminate it. My body is just comfortable at 121-123 right now. Mentally I am stuck on a # which I know is not right. I am 5'6" and 123 is not a lot. I am just going to keep on keeping on. Happy Friday to all.

118.6 this morning, but I had dinner out last night (barbecued ribs, yum!); it's been in the 116-117 range all week otherwise, so I'm trusting it will come down quickly after a day or two of clean eating.

128.4 today. DH is finally starting to low-carb, and after two weeks it has already improved his blood pressure and glucose readings. He hasn't lost much weight, but is doing it for the health benefits. Obviously it's working!

I have been away from the boards a while since we are in house buying nightmare. BUt we are suposed to close on the new house this thursday so keep your fingers crossed for us! After losing one at 9 PM evening before closing we are on a tight schedule is for sure. I've been living out of boxes for months with only 3 pots to cook in but have still stayed on plan. Not sure if I have gained as my scale has been in who knows what box for 2 months (I;'ve been living out of boxes for 2 months) but since I know I have been good I am not worried and my clothes agree I am SOOO looking forward to the new house and getting out of boxes so I can cook as I normally do and relax a little since I have been so stressed out and wondering if my family will have a place to live. You all look like you are doing so well and I have so missed being on the boards.

Thank you Bella So far so good on the house. We should be closing and moving in this Thursday! I bought some of the Natures Own Double Fiber Wheat bread today. I am going to give it a try. Have you tried anything similar?

HI TK good to see your post. I am moving also. This coming Saturday on the 30th. Moving to a 2 bedroom duplex closer to town and to my DS and DGD. I am looking forward to getting the mover over with and settled in. I'll be thinking about you. Just renting so a little less stress for me. They will cut the grass also. New construction and I am hoping energy efficient.

120.5 today

Oh my gosh Loretta, we will both be moving at the same time pretty much! Best of luck with your move! I bet it will be nice to be closer to DS and DGD I will be thinking of you too.

I've never tried Ezekial. What is it and where do you get it? With only have a couple pots and no bakeware/mixer/etc it has been difficult and even if I only use this double fiber stuff to get through this week I think it is worth it. I got that and my lc wraps to help. That should get me through until Frideay when I can unpack all my wonderful bakewear and stuff. Gosh, who knew one could miss their mixer so much..lol.

We have a whole foods about an hour from the new house. Too long of a trip for an every week thing is for sure. I normally go once a month but haven't been able to in over 3 months. We move into the new house tomorrow so after we get settled I'll get DH to take me up there at some point so I can pick up some more CO oil and tofu noodles. I guess I will have to stick with the Natures Own double fiber bread. It is pretty good and not that high in carbs I guess. Was just hoping for an even healtheir alternative.

I didn't report in last week - we had visitors, and I didn't weigh myself or record my food. I'm still up a pound or two from eating more food and more carbs than usual while they were here.

29 Aug 118.6 23% BF
15 Aug 117
8 Aug 116.6
1 Aug 117.4

Well, all this week I was 122 but today I am 123.6 It is my fault. I ate alot of salt yesterday. I am chalking it up to water weight but it still gets me. I really need to get serious. Today is a new day.
